I thought this was a decent episode but of course Barry is back like 10 minutes in. He will probably have a few more side effects but still.
Well it probably saved money.I laughed that they seemed to use the same field that Supergirl used yesterday.
So we have a dark Supergirl and an insane Flash this week!
So Caitlin has two doctorates AND a PhD? Impressive.
That was a good but flawed premiere. I think it did an excellent job at setting up a more fun and lighthearted status quo for the season going forward (Barry has moved on from his crappy background, new suit, new arch nemesis, yada yada) but it was kinda disappointing as a resolution to Season 3's cliffhanger. We didn't explore the world without the Flash very much, and Barry's return lacked the emotional impact I think the writers wanted it to have. However, I am stoked for the rest of the season.
Solid premiere. Loving Barry's new suit and the Thinker looks awesome. So glad we don't have a speedster as the big bad of the season.
All I got out of the ep is Iris should get a life instead of managing other people's. The team didn't need her, but they sure needed Cisco, yet who's the leader? Worse, there was nothing believable about her leadership. Andrew Kreisberg was telling the truth when he said the premiere is about Cisco and Iris, not Barry. Of the 3, Cisco was the only believable and relevant one. So the problems with Iris and Barry remains intact: she's shoehorned and he's just there.
Lol so it takes someone threatening them for the team to take charge and bring Barry back?
This is certainly an interesting place for Caitlin to be in...
Cisco didn't change clothes.
Really Cisco? You make a new suit right now? And how fast do you make suits dude!
Are they really going to be playing with this dr jekyll and mr hyde with Caitlin? Just let her the two merge and be one HBIC! Have her go a bit blonder and be a nice medium.
