haha, budget cuts. Probably the same spaceship.

Let me assure you, that while I like Lois & Clark--some of their designs were nice in concept, but made fugly by certain additions. Take the spaceship for example. Reaaaaal ugly "S" symbol on the front, and ugly "Kryptonian" symbols carved onto the sides made it look, well, cheap.

Smallville's spaceship looks very similiar, but much sleeker. And without that ugly symbol! Gah, I winced whenever I saw it. :O

FROM SUPERMAN: BIRTHRIGHT....

Then Luthor was another matter altogether.

That's right, Ma. I found Lex today.... completely by accident. What a huge dissapointment. In the back of my mind, I guess I'd always hoped we could be friends again someday, but the way he's changed... and what he's changed INTO...

Don't worry- I kept to the shadows, and he didn't seem to recognize his old pal Clark. True, he hasn't seen me since I was a teenager, but I'd still hoped to get a little more practice at hiding my secret before danging it in front of the world's smartest man.

I couldn't help worrying that he could put two and two together at any moment.

This has a certain SMALLVILLE vibe about it. Just thought you guys might be interested since they talked about Lex and Clark being friends, Lex knowing teenage Clark, and how Clark was able to hide his secret identity from him.

I liked that part in Birthright as well and it makes more sense anyway.
