Jesus, talk about wasted potential. Titans should have been a cornerstone book for the future of the DC Universe. WOW!
It's not like he really gave the book a real chance, he was gone before they could get enough for the trade. That type of half ass commitment from creators is going to be the downfall of the comics industry. You can say what you want about Johns or Bendis, but at least they stick around, for better or worse.

Though some people around here, especially latly have been talking sneeds about Johns, you cannot deny his outline for the DCU has been really entertaining, perhaps not well executed in every aspect, but great for discussion.
And I cannot beleive all the crap that Bendis shoots out. As many of you know I dont follow Marvel's day to day goings-on, but upon finding out that Bendis has been crafting this Secret Invasion for so long, well I crapped.
Titans - Another example of "eh, it's okay" when it should be WHOA!
On the Johns front, Action Comics has been amazing as of late and Brainiac is right around the corner.
Frank has become the number one reason I'm avoiding this book (just barely edging out the stupid Silver Age c** Johns is swallowing). Every time he draws Superman, I want to punch Christopher Reeve's corpse.
Honestly, Action Comics was better when Chuck Austen was writing it. At least the very premises behind Austen's stories were interesting. It wasn't until the actual execution that he failed. Johns' stories aren't even interesting on paper. God I can't wait until he leaves.
Is anyone still reading Teen Titans? I was surprised to find that the roster presented on the solicited September cover didn't completely suck. Robin, Miss Martian (who I still think would be better if she'd just be her white Martian self instead of masquerading as a greenie), Blue Beetle, Kid Devil, and Wonder Girl. Provided Robin and Wonder Girl aren't boning and/or so angsty they make me want to scream, I might actually consider flipping through that issue instead of attempting to block out the knowledge that Teen Titans still exists.
I don't know, I'm pretty interested to see how he mixes and matches all the interpretations of Brainiac into one version in this current arc. I'll be honest, though: I'm reading Action Comics for Gary Frank's art. I don't pick up Action Comics unless Frank is on it.
Someone must be. I mean, that comic died when Superboy did.
