Yeah Routh really blew it, he might never recover now. Who knows when he will get another job. It's just over before it started for Routh. He's like Screech from Saved By the Bell now. It's so hopeless.![]()
The guy has plenty of time to get the ball rolling, maybe he's taking a break before shooting the Man of Steel. That can't be though, since they aren't doing a sequel.![]()
Maybe they should just cast Ben Affleck now, and give up on Routh.![]()

You know one interesting thing about Routh if they don't do a sequel is that he becomes the "transional" Superman that allows audiences to get past Reeve - as hard as that is. If they wait now and reboot in a decade or so the new Superman actor will be freed from having to be a physical clone of Reeve.
Not that I personally think the actor following Reeve needed to be a clone but Singer and WB apparently thought audiences needed that.
BTW, its not about giving up on Routh its about giving it up for Superman. Why did Superman get second class treatment when it came to casting the lead when Spiderman, Batman, X-Men all get leads who can, who'd of thuink - actually act. I am talking of course McGuire, Bale and Jackman to name 3.
