Serious question...

When you have female friends and are around a certain age, you face certain dangers or problems that you may not face if it were a group of guys. We live in a sexist world and so with a group of guys you're either ignored or maybe people don't trust you or you may risk fighting other guys. But being ignored is the more common thing.

When you're with girls, other guys are always eyeing them. And so problems arise. Some guys don't know their place and may want to touch, so you'd have to defend them.

So I wanted to ask a serious question...

Is it worse to be killed or to be raped?

From a personal experience, me and some friends were driving around. And being dumbasses, they drove into a dark wooded area with no light on. So the girl with us was getting paranoid about locking the doors. And she said something like "You don't understand, if someone attacks us, they'll kill you guys. But they'll rape me. Let's get out of here!!"

That made me think. If some sicko or group of sickos attacks a guy and girl. They might kill the guy, or maybe not. Maybe just beat the **** out of him, but they'd probablly rape the girl.

Both are horrible things. But that's really the only way to ask what I'm trying to ask?

There are pros and cons to both I suppose but neither are better than one or the other.

To be raped would be a horrible experience. But if it's just the rape then the girl will be able to live. She will have horrible memories though. And if she's raped at the right time then there is a high chance of getting pregnant. There are many variables for a situation like this. To lose virginity (if applicable), chance of getting an STD from the sick SOB, and the chance of getting pregnant.

If the girl does become pregnant then that a whole different realm right there. If the girl decides to keep the child, then it's another life brought into the world. A blessed event but it may not be for her to be able to care for the child.

Even if she does not become pregnant, she still has the horrible memories for the rest of her life. Depending on the girl, this could either make her stronger or weaker.


Then death. You can't be harmed if you're not in your body, but then no chance of life. Then there's being raped and then killed. There's no gaurantee of any girl coming out of a rape alive.


But these aren't the only outcomes that are possible.

In any fight there is no way to lessen the trauma. Fights like that are gruesome. It can't be changed. If I were you, I would always carry a weapon. I usually carry my pocket knife with me. But in situations like that it helps to have a will to fight to the bitter end and not back down no matter what, and a will to live and to protect. With that, you'll give them all one heck of a fight.

It's hard to think of a situation where I would choose death over anything. A person's will to live can override anything. Realistically,you never know until you're in that situation.


Also,I kinda hate hypothetical questions like this for the reasons stated above,and because the scenario's people come up with are rarely plausible.

The fact is that if you are only raped at least you are still alive and can at least try to get on with your life. it might take years of therapy and counselling but at least you have a chance.
