Shameless

Another awesome episode tonight. Great performances by Fiona and Lip, especially the latter with all his conflicting emotions. Favorite moment was when he saw his grade on the paper, a brief moment of triumph thinking he can succeed before he realizes where he is again.

Dang, Mike paying Fiona's bail. She does not deserve it. He's too good a guy

Really not feeling Sheila's storyline at all.

LMAO to Sammi's reaction to Liam being black. I still dont buy that he's Frank's son

I seriously wanted to get that poor girl a hug, and knock the hell of Mike's brother after what he had been doing to her.

That episode was chilling, honestly **** Fiona. I hope she doesn't take Lip down...

Also, Mike's bro needed to be narc'd on.

Not by Finoa he didn't. If she narcs on him she'd be totally blacklisted in the neighborhood. Ratting is never the answer especially where Fiona lives. She'd probably get shot or something

Good episode Sunday I thought Emily R. really stood out among a slew of them. They really did a good job of evoking those feelings of humiliation, regret and sorrow.

Yea, she did a great job. Going through all those different emotions like that was really quite something to watch

When both parties are from that neighborhood, sure. But when the person who supplied the drugs is from a well to do, upper middle class family, who owns a company,iI doubt the same rules apply.

I'm betting Fiona didn't say anything as a way to keep the wedge from being further driven between Mike and Robbie.

Not really man. A rat is a rat in the hood. If you go to jail and anybody knows you are a rat it doesn't matter if you ratted on some rich dude or an obvious ex-con, you're being places in protective custody. Which here, is just a cell that all the rats and sex offenders get stuffed into together lol. Seriously though, se body just has to get a small inkling that Fiona was running her mouth and then they're thinking "Well, if she's gonna tell on this dude what's gonna stop her from telling on me?" That's the why people hate a rat. Cuz they never know if they can trust them.

I'm from Oakland, California. You don't need to school me on the going ons of "the hood". There are exceptions to the rules of not snitching, i.e. if the person is rich, or if a child is harmed (though, in those cases people usually dole out street justice).

Yea, true. I still don't think it's a good idea for her to snitch on anyone though. Where I'm from it makes no difference with being rich or not. You in the game you in the game. Neighborhood dont matter

I do wonder if Kev would do something to Mike's brother, because A) he had to know that was his coke and not Fiona's and B) the dude looks like he's holding back a lot of rage and the moment he saw Debbie's boyfriend, I thought he was gonna go Henry Hill on him.

Someone needs to knock some sense into Matt, whether or not he had sex with Debbie, you don't sleep with a 13 year old girl alone in your apartment.

I don't know if anyone would or even should try and hurt Robbie. He didn't really do anything wrong. Did he leave the coke with Fiona? Sure. But it's not his fault Liam got a hold of it.

This is one of the best TV shows without any doubts. I basically started watching it because I have always been a fan of William H Macy. However, watching him in such role was a bit surprising.

So is what's gonna happen with Lip and his roommate's girl obvious to everyone else or am I reading too much into it.

Man, I know one thing, there are few things scarier than being in court and hearing that "The state recommends a minimum of 5 years" Oh man. She probably won't even see jail but still, when you hear that kinda stuff all you can think is "OMG WTF have I done?!"

Haha yea they kinda are. Guess a fat man can't have a girl without some skinny **** wad coming along and snatching her up :whatever:

It's Liam he's a chick magnet. You seen the looks he was getting on that train.

I don't want Lip hooking up with his roommates girl. This has been a girl who's been nothing but a ***** toward him thus far, now all of a sudden, she sees Lip babysitting his brother and she's making nice? If it were to happen, let it be more organic. This feels like we're being force fed a new relationship.

Also, with all of the stuff going on with his family and finally finding his footing at school, he doesn't need to damage his roommate's relationship.

Although Fiona and Lip had some great scenes during this episode, the character I feel who really brought his 'A' game this episode was Mickey. Literally every one of his scenes were either hilarious (Kev questioning Mickey about his pubes), or heartbreaking (Mickey watching Ian sleep while Svetlana watches him). He's really come into his own as a dynamic character.

I've seen a lot of people in other forums chalk up Ian's apathy/mania as just side effects of his drug use. I could see that being the case if the show hadn't already established Ian as being the one who's most like Monica. Plus, the scene between he and Fiona in next weeks episode screams mania.

I loved Carl this episode... In fact, I've loved him in every episode this season. He's come a long way from being the suspected future sociopath of the Gallagher clan. It's hard watching Carl come to certain realizations about Frank and the fallout of Fiona's actions. What she did effects each of the kids in some way, especially in a neighborhood like theirs. People talk. Hell, Liam will be in his teens and people will still be gossiping about the time he went face first into his big sisters stash.

Go Lip! Fiona needed to be called out on her incredibly awful decisions.

I was thinking the same exact things about Lip, Carl and Micky, Charlie Boy. Mickey really has shined this season. And yea, I agree about Liam dealing with this until he's a young adult. He will always be that kid everyone knows almost overdosed on cocaine when he was really young and anything that he ever does wrong people will always be like "Well, he did overdose on coke when he was like 2" and yes, I know that's not how it happened exactly. I'm adjusting for word of mouth distorting it lol

How with the clan make any money with Fi in house arrest?

I really want Lip to succeed and not get bogged down with filling in for Fi's failure.

Welfare? Its really hard to imagine how they can survive without some kind of outside intervention now
