Really like the predator beast. The first movie was awesome.
Having said that i have a bad feeling about this particular movie.

I don't have the greatest feeling either. I was super excited for Predators, and boy...was I wrong. If anyone can right this ship though, I feel like it's Shane Black. If this falters they REALLY just need to let it die.

At least it isn't the Predator that has autism or down syndrome or something. Could you imagine the P.C. backlash that would come from calling an alien with down syndrome "one ugly mother****er"?

The ballsiest thing they can do is introduce the kid and play up like he's the key, then have the Predator kill him halfway through. There will be backlash, but at least it would be unexpected.

You could do that in a lot of movies and they would be improved immediately. Aliens vs Predator would have been a lot better if when the main chick showed the young predator how the alien head could be used as a shield, to have the predator rip her spine out and then take the shield. So instead of "wtf, they're teaming up together?" you have "whoa! that was awesome!"

For me, Predator 2 is almost as good as the original film. I''ll never understand the hatred for the film. Heck, I'll take Harrigan over Dutch and Royce any day as the coolest badass to go toe-to-toe with a Predator.

For me, it's simple. It was Danny Glover who's always complaining about being old in the Lethal Weapon movies and suddenly, he's able to best a Predator who took out all the people he did in the movie. Even as an 8 year old, that totally killed it for me.

The first Predator is one of the best action films ever.

And may be in the minority, but I like Predators too.
