Not a great photo, but it's a blurry cellphone pic of behind the scenes stuff.

I've seen so many people here saying the same thing that you just said after seeing blurry photos not meant for the public, and I'm like 'be perspective and smart about this.'

That being said, Black should've just released a photo of the new Predator to beat the candid shots. I don't know why some directors resist it when it actually works and candid shots get less attention.

From what I understand, the leaked script features Predators riding alongside the heroes on a tank. But hey, Shane Black is likely fully aware of a supposed leaked script and could be messing with people.

At first the idea of Predators teaming up with some mercenaries and using human military equipment seemed bad, but on second thought the predators are a sentient and intelligent species with a culture and social skills and there is no established reason why some Predators wouldn't team up with humans. And there is no real reason why a predator would never use human military equipment if it needed to. Yeah it's a bit odd, but as long as it makes sense within the context of the plot and the film is good Ill go along with it.

Well, the Predator DID team up with the main character to hunt down the Alien Queen in AVP....

The thing, there could be various reasons for the pictures above.

1) The Predators are teaming up with humans and using military equipment. Which is how it looks at first glance.

2) These are humans dressing as Predators for some reason. I suggest this because Predators have typically been much more muscular and physically bigger than humans, and the ones above look similarly sized to us.

3) These are shots taken on set and are perhaps just stuntmen/actors goofing around, and may be in no way indicative of any plot points in the film. Hence the lack of mandibles in the bottom photo.

I think its just them goofing around on set. I can buy Predators teaming up with humans if the context is right... But wearing military fatigues? There is no possible context where that works.
