pretty funny, that the premiere is 2 months away and the only footage we‘ve seen, was the trailer from ComicCon 6 months ago. DC seems not very confident for this movie...

WB didn’t release another trailer for Aquaman until about 2 months before release either.

then again, it was Aquaman, which has to offer something unique and unseen before. People were curious because of the underwater setting.
Also Aquman didn‘t have much competition with no Marvel-movie before and after 2 months of its release.
Shazam will premiere between Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 with only 1 month space

Aquaman did have competition with Bumblebee, Mary Poppins Returns and Spiderverse. Many online media outlets were doubting it could make money and yet it outgrossed everything. Shazam! has plenty of time to make money before Avengers.

I'm wondering when they'll drop the Shazamily footage because that's going to be the biggest talking point especially if they end up fighting another team of supers after the Sivana scuffle
