i've been really interested in this title, was going to get #8 yesterday but my store had sold out :(

just starting to read this title where would be the best place to start?
    #8 the civil war tie-in? or 9 or 10?

    Bumpage!!!!

This is a travesty that this book is not being discussed. You should all be ashamed of yourselves!!!

I mean, She Hulk and John Jameson get married. Dan Slott owns Mark Millar's Marvel Knights Spider-Man run....and JJJ breaks out the She-Hulk Slayer!

    TRAVESTY!!

You're all a disgrace to Dan Slott. :(

    :p

I apololie :( *Wallows in unimaginable shame*

Ugh, I liked She-Hulk #9 for the most part, hate that she is Pro-Reg though. And yes, JJJ is crazy; the guy lives on stress and anger 24/7.

I don't know. But she said that since she can control his transformations again that she plans to stay as She-Hulk from now on. So, I guess there really isn't going to be that much of an arguement with herself.

The way I think they played it is. Jen is a lawyer, so she thinks like one and sees that the law is bad and as a lawyer doesnt think its right. As She-Hulk, shes a superhero and believes that people should get training and be able to control their powers from her own experiences and is for the SHRA because she knows what can happene when power is left uncheck in her own rampages and that of her cousin the Hulk.

I thought it was that she personally disagreed with the law, but she was still a lawyer so she would follow the letter of the law regardless. She feels it's not her right to pass judgment on the SHRA; a majority of the people's representatives supported it and her job as a lawyer is to execute the will of the people in the courtroom and in life. Since her life includes being a superhero as She-Hulk, she registered and is following the law. But ask her about it outside the office and she'd tell you it's a crock.

    Or something like that. :o

Chances are, as a lawyer, she probably has a little bit of experience dealing with superhuman law cases (more like that's her entire job), and can see the positives and negatives that could come out of this. Also, like you said, she feels it's her duty to execute the will of the American people, and the American people voted for Registration. That, and on Larry King Live, she agreed with Pro Registration, and that's definitely outside of the office. ;)

i think she-hulk will be back in the FF after this. especially if reed/ sue split or if johnny dies -- then they'll have a couple of places to fill maybe?

loved the latest issue. spider-man support staff having a greater role than they do in the spider-man books? hell yeah!

So, anybody else read the latest issue or what? Come on people, where is the LOVE for this title?

My heart broke into tiny pieces for poor Awesome Andy. Using his powers or not he deserved some play!!!

Though what about Man-Wolf morphing into the Star God, that's an interesting twist. And it seemed that the spell sort of broke on She-Hulk and then at the end it sort of didn't, I was kind of confused there.

I'm kind of excited about next ish to see where it goes and if Pug finally gets what is due. Pug and Awesome Andy should probably just move in with each other and wallow in their own misery, heh.

That wouldn't be cool. I was thinking more along the lines of getting tons of hookers and hard drugs type of wallowing in their misery.

Didn't Slott say somewhere that there's more agony in stall for Pug?
I want Awsome Andy to go on a rampage and I think John will just **** off somewhere now. They're blatantly going to have an argument about how John prefers Jen (hence the last line), not She-Hulk and then they'll get their marriage anulled.

Mm, this is an entertaining series, dear I say one of the best.

That would be nice, and beats her joining the FF.

Yeah,.. I read that and thought it SUCKED that the Awesome Android lost out.

And Pug? He deserves to be way"laid" by every beautiful unattached woman in the Marvel U for the amount of "Crap" he has to deal with in the She hulk Comic.

    And "Star God?"

Meh,.... We know what's gonna happen there because we already know Jen's reaction/stand by whats been said in both the FF and the Avengers.

    Good WRITING by Slott.

Heh - that I'm getting used to.
