She-Hulk

You know, we only know the Genius rankings of two people in the Marvel universe: Reed Richards is the smartest human, and Amadaeus Cho is the 7th... makes you wonder about everyone else. I hate to quote an episode of Kim Possible, but Tony... have you ever been tested?

He probably has. He's definitely invented things that makes Reed consider him an equal.

Still, he's been out invented by a sixteen year old on a vespa. Granted he keeps a coyote in his army jacket, but... that just makes him badass, not smarter.

Oh, no doubt is Cho extremely smart. I'm kind of curious just HOW he did it, seeing how he had absolutely nothing to work with in terms of what the nanobots were like, but still.

But everybody is like, "He hacked Reed's computer!" when it was Banner who did that. Either way, Cho is smart, but I have a triggering feeling Stark is probably going to remain smarter.

doubtlessly, but I like the character of Cho. the way he was Jen described him in Incredible Hulk... she hit the nail on the head. Cho saw the Hulk on a good day, and deemed him a hero. Cho is being a teenager to the T, including believing he knows more than anyone else. He's arrogant and that will eventually catch up with him when he triest to go toe-to-toe with Tony. until then, he's the sixteen year old on a vespa that managed to make nanobots.

I agree. Cho is what we call "budding brilliance." Someone who is absolutely used to being right, that he doesn't really grow in any other direction than to the side, rather than straight up. Which means he grows believing his initial instincts are always on the mark, and when you're a child, you're right. As you get older, it doesn't work out so far.

I want to see him try to finally infiltrate Stark Tower, and go one on one with Stark, power down his armor, only to have it backfire as Stark says something like, "Kid, I was playing with this sort of stuff before I was your age." And incarcerate him, where Cho breaks out of prison, taking a bunch of people with him deep into the Negative Zone, where they build up something akin to a resistance or something like that.

I want to add one thing to that: Dusk. On the planet Blaastar used to rule there was a resistance, and they had a "Union Jack" esque hero who's mantle and costume were passed down from generation to generation. Spider-Man was once the hero (called Dusk). well we have a Dusk in our universe. I think it might be good to see her get back to her roots.

Is Dusk there though? I knew he got the suit from that planet, but I thought she died in the normal universe, as opposed to the Negative Zone. But a new Dusk took over in the Negative Zone, right?

Yeah, I'd like to see more done with that character.

I'm talking about Slingers' Dusk. she died, came back, and now has some mad teleportation skills, which would make her a valuable ally. If she is tied to the negative zone, more power to her.

It's the Leader... there's a point to him?

That's not what I said. I said that his coming back made his very good death pointless. Which annoys me, as it gave the character a great deal of closure.

Slingers' Dusk died in the first issue, she came back in the second. She was alive... ish when last we heard from her.

Probably still there, or died in battle, i don't know.

I'm pretty sure he was killed off again more recently, in the more closurey, enlightenment findingy way I mentioned.

Nope. That musta went down before because this is the first time he's showed up since.

My guess is:
1. Reed Richards
2. Victor von Doom
3. Tony Stark
4. Henry Pym
5. Hank McCoy
6. Bruce Banner
7. Amadaeus Cho

Okay, seriously, The MU needs some super smart women. This makes no sense.

There do need to be a few more genius level women.

Had an idea for a woman made from a genetic mixture of Jaime Madrox and (pre-cosmic rays) Reed Richards. She's a doctor with 5 specialties.

My guess is:
1. Reed Richards
2. Victor von Doom
3. Tony Stark
4. Henry Pym
5. Hank McCoy
6. Bruce Banner
7. Amadaeus Cho

In the Handbooks of the 90's Banner was listed as an ordinary genius while McCoy wasn't even ranked as a genius at all. Magneto, Xavier, and the Mandarin were all listed as extraordinary geniuses along with Reed, and Doom. There were several other extraordinary geniuses so Banner probably wouldn't even make the top 20. I don't know what Stark's ranking was.

Banner was also listed as being so smart, that no test could quantify his intelligence. But I agree, Mandarin was a genius that was capable of easily deciphering technology centuries ahead of humans, and even advance it further.

My guess is:
1. Reed Richards
2. Victor von Doom
3. Tony Stark
4. Henry Pym
5. Hank McCoy
6. Bruce Banner
7. Amadaeus Cho

That's what I'm thinking. The only ones we can be sure of are numbers 1, 2 and 7. The rest you kind of just have to fill in.
