Civil War She'll put a hex on you! The official Scarlet Witch thread - Part 1

I think ScarletAmerica would be better they have shared life experience. :yay:
So does ScarletWinter. Plus they can talk about Eastern Europe. Both have great long hair. They can talk about hair maintenance.

If they had Wanda and Natasha, it could be ScarletJohansson. :o

But if they really wanted Scarlet and Cap, it could allude to his Nomad persona with WandaAmerica. :o

All these ships suck. There is only ScarletVision. The Russos even said there relationship would be explored in Infinity War.

Wanda-ing Vision: when the former Jarvis's eyes begin to stray. :o

Yeah, I do feel ScarletVision is the best possible relationship in the MCU because Cap is already sort of in a relationship. I wouldn't mind ScarletWinter but ScarletVision would still be my choice due to the way it honors the comics

So I take it no one is jumping aboard the super angsty IronWitch ship? :funny:

Did anyone else notice that whenever Wanda was hexing, her eyes didn't turn red like they did in Age of Ultron? If they did, it must have been so vague I couldn't tell. Maybe she's learned to control that over the last year. I just thought that was kind of interesting.

Good thing I'm skipping IW then sooner or later the Russo's will share the same fate as Joss did.

I don't know but I'm digging WinterSpider now, especially at the way Spidey was in awe of his metal arm.

They're sitting down watching an open air play.

You do not like the Russos?

I don't like how they turned Cap's movie into another Avengers movie at first I thought they would make a solo Cap movie, but no instead they made a another Avengers movie. :csad: You don't push aside the main character and their love interest for minor characters, instead of focusing on Staron they focused on Scarlet Vision, and really I want a director who respects the source material instead of cramming all these different characters that has nothing do with Cap. :csad:

Everything that happened was because of Marvel not the Russos. They wanted to guarantee another billion in the bank especially when faced with the possibility of DC being competition. Looking back nothing in this film was any different than any other Avengers film... they are always having a civil war. It's getting kind of pedantic, however, I don't blame The Russos for any of the movies failings I blame Marvel for forcing this film to happen before it made sense to.

Otherwise I totally agree with you.

The Russos were the ones to pitch CW to Feige, not the other way around. They deserve most of the blame for this critically acclaimed billion dollar plus grossing picture.

The movie to me has obvious flaws. Maybe you think it's perfect that's fine but it wasn't my cup of tea. If Russos decided to not focus on Steve in a Cap movie that is a cg lear mistake.

I didn't comment about CW's flaws (Lagos shaky cam), focus (Where are you getting it wasn't Steve?), timing (Nine previous tie in films aren't enough?) or my own impression of the film (I loved it). You stated Marvel forced the film to happen. That is incorrect.

The core Avengers (Captain America, Black Widow, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Falcon, War Machine) are there because the Avengers facility is now Steve's home.

Tony is there because of the Accords.

Ant-Man and Hawkeye are there because Steve recruits them to help him in his mission to defeat the super soldiers in Siberia.

T'Challa is there because he and his father are present at the ratification of the accords in Vienna and then Black Panther becomes a factor because his father is killed there.

Spider-Man is the only character you could say is truly shoe-horned in.

What I'm trying to say is, yes, it's a lot of characters, but they're all there for a purpose that revolves around Captain America or at least the Accords, which is a Captain America event. It is the ONLY story in Captain America lore that contains this many fellow Avengers and Marvel decided to tell this story to cap off an amazing trilogy. Makes sense.

It's NOT an Avengers movie. It's just a crucial chapter in the story of Captain America that happens to involve many of his fellow superheros because of the Accords. Period. The end.

So basically, whether its good or bad, you hate any movie that has an actual romantic subplot in it?

I don't mind romance I just like action more really the only reason why I like Wanda is because her connection to Magneto/X-Men.
