since the recent surge of newbies i thought i would bump it

just droppin' by here to make my first post to just say, "How ya doon"...

for the moment, just tryin' to navigate my way 'round here...

just registered today... hopin' to make this a regular stopover what with me bein' laid off for over a year now... time is what I have plenty of on my hands and this might be the place I'll be frequenting...

fast bio on myself, I like comics (obviously since I'm here) and anything comics-related... comics (mostly Spider-Man), comics-themed movies, GOOD science fiction films, GOOD crime films, action adventure stuff and the like... I'm a big fan of b/w films... especially noir and monster movies...

being unemployed, I now watch a lot of TV... big fan of Fringe, Lost, Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, Warehouse 13, 24, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Smallville and Life On Mars, among others...

music-wise I'm into mostly 70's and 80's and some early 90's metal...

bookwise for my reading pleasure, I'm a big fan of the Destroyer series primarily...

and I call my ChiTown my home...

well that's about it off the top of my head for now... more to come later if anyone's really interested...

I'll be droppin' by allover the place at the various threads, so I'll be easy to find... just give me a "howdy" if you're so inclined...

I love Marvel and DC both but tend more toward DC mostly...if I had to pick a comics character to compare myself to I would probably say Lulu Romanov or Selene of the Hellfire Club

I'm an okay artist, wannabe comics writer and I spend way too much time watching anime with my girlfriend instead of doing real work.
