"They've never done it right," he added, explaining why Robin has always seemed so dorky in the past. Asked how he'd change the Robin story, Ventimiglia offered up a single word that speaks chapters to comic fans: "Nightwing."

I think it's so cool to see actors stepping out and asking/hoping to receive the roles they want to play when it comes to superherores. And you know when they ask they have a vision for the character whether it's right or wrong.

So now I pose the question of Milo Ventimiglia as Robin/Nightwing. Sounds like this cat wants it bad. Sounds also like he has the right vision to do Robin and Nightwing justice. And if you watched Heroes Season 1 like I did, you know the man is off the chain. What do u think of him as Robin in the Batman sequels or Nightwing? Maybe even has a spin-off for Nightwing? I can definitely see it. Homeboy's got skills and he's an impressive actor.

Naturally, the talk then turned to the role Ventimiglia had chosen as his dream gig. His answer? “Robin,” he grinned, referring to the embattled Batman buddy most recently seen in the person of Chris O’Donnell in the late Nineties.

When reminded that Dick Grayson typically signals the downfall of a Batman franchise, Ventimiglia insisted that current Dark Knight mastermind Christopher Nolan could bring enough of an edge to the character to make him worthwhile. The “Heroes” star added that he was a big fan of Nolan’s “Batman Begins,” and that if the writer/director ever put out a casting call for a Robin in a future Batman flick, he’d move faster than The Penguin at an umbrella sale.

Naturally, if Nolan were to ever address Robin and/or Nightwing, it would be his prerogative to alter the origin story as he saw fit. But, with Ventimiglia’s look and athleticism, he would be a perfect choice for the role if it were to happen in the next few years. And if this Boy ever gets to fulfill his Wonder, remember you heard it here first.

He´s only doing three anyways and I doubt he would be back for more, don´t think he wants to make Batman films for the rest of his life

Neither would in his position but if someone with a good or better vision can always come along and fill the void. As long he is not Schumacher and he continue Nolan's vision or enhance it, I'm all for it. I guarantee this Bat-series will go more than three, hopefully it won't suck though like the last Burton-Schumacher switcharoo.

I'm not sure the Robin thing either although he's 30, he's a young looking 30 like Tobey Maguire. But Nightwing, there's a possibilty...............

Yeah I could see that. He’s a decent Actor and has the physical look. Just not something I see in Nolan's 3 films. After that he would be too old. Not that I am overly optimistic about the possibility of this film, but I could easily see him as Nightwing; leader of the Teen Titans.

I always thought it would be kinda cool if Robin was about the same age as Bruce. Not making him the kid wonder but more of an equal to Bruce or a legitmate parnter. I'm sure if Nolan were to add him he would make it believable, but I don't think he will be in the movies, maybe the third one with a nod to him!

I think it's still too early to put Robin in Nolan's world of movies; I'd put him in the fourth or fifth one personally.

Although I don't see Robin/Nightwing happening anytime soon, I could certainly see Milo in the role. He's a bit too old now for Robin but I'm sure he could have been great in his younger days. He'd make a killer Nightwing though. Now that his name has been brought up though, makes me think he'd kick radical ass as another DC favorite... Kyle Raynor.

Last time, I just wanted to clear something up.

I'm going into spoiler-hiding. I honestly wouldn't trust anything that comes out until you see the film.

The Joker is definitely white though - since every thread has to contain a mention of that.
