SHHFFL XII - The Hype's Official Fantasy Football League

Hey Guys,

Once again, I'm setting up Season XII of the Super Hero Hype Fantasy Football League. (seeing as I set up Season V,VI, VII, VIII, IX, X & XI, that's good enough for me )

I have sent out invitations to last years players (I think... let me know if you didn't get the invite), so it should fill up @ about 80%... seeing as there has been good rivalries over the past 8 years. However, in about a week's time, if they haven't signed up, I'll give out the league info to whoever wants to play in an order that will follow this post.

Also, seeing as I'm old & crotchety, maybe one of you keener types can tell me which poster has been banned last year seeing as we no longer allow banned users from playing in the Hype League.

And please, if you're going to sign up, play your players throughout the season. We've had problems in the past with players not being serious enough to play their players. So if you don't think you're committed to playing, please let someone else to join.

If you can, try and keep the same team name... because I just love consistency.

The Man-Spiders are back and the title is fixed. I had to add the subtitle because it wouldn't let me have an all caps title. Weird.

Anyway, in the case of an opening TMOB, will it be first come first serve or will we consider new owners as a league? No offense to eplo, but we've had other Hypster's express interest in past seasons and they should at least get to make their case as well.

I prefer a senior player... or someone who's poked his head into the sports/NFL forums... most of those guys have been asked before in the past... but let's hope we have 16 returnees...

Yeah, we had a great, competitive league last year. I believe 12 of our 16 teams were .500 or above. Our champion and second place teams were 8-6 and 7-7 respectively. I think that speaks to how much parity we had last year and how competitive each week was. Hopefully we can repeat the magic this year (only this year I hope I don't get the last overall pick for the third year in a row! ).

I'd totally let you in... you had a team in Seasons I & III, and was the No. 2 Seed in Season III that got upset in the Quarter Finals by a n00b by one point...

I'm giving everyone a week or two to fill their spots... so if somebody doesn't rejoin, maybe we can see that old Incredible Hulks franchise rise from the ashes... lol
