It's not like they just chose(in the comics) to make him unable to change back simply for the hell of it. It ties into his whole motivation for being a villain(I happen to like how most Marvel villains each have thier own story as well and their own unique reasons for why they do what they do). For Emil it's the beauty and the beast story gone wrong. It's Ben Grimm/Thing without any sort of moral fiber to keep him as a good guy despite the fact that he hates what has happened to him.

*not in the comics
*there are others way to show green, trying showing it with Emil
*Abomination is already dangerous, the guy is more powerfull that Hulk, thats enough

i can tell you a big comic fan. :whatever:

they are not going to make this movie to just please the comic book fans. there are plenty of fans of the 70's show as well. i actually hope emil can control his transformations at first, then slowly loose control. i also hope the transformation of the hulk is more like the 70's show, with the white eyes and some sort of chilling music sound when it happens.

you wanna watch something like th TV, buy the tv show dvd and watch it again, i hope this stays far away from the TV show, they are only using the man on the run theme from it, maybe the eyes. Other than that, i dont think they are using anything else from it.

You don't think they are but you don't know they aren't using anything else from the show.

I think by keeping the fact that he can't control it, helps them build on the hatred he has for Banner/Hulk.

the TV show had nothing else they can use, Is Hulk going to go around fliping chairs, jogging and then at the end, go "arrrrrrgh" and flex his muscles?

I used to watch the show on the same night along with the six million dollar man and funnily enough it looked like they were running the same way. :D

Apart from the concept of the show, nothing should be taken from it.

well, they were two guys running in slow motion :cwink:

i still can't understand why him originally having the ability to change then losing it is a bad idea. if anything it adds to the character being able to have the best of both worlds...

when he loses he ability to have his cake and eats it, he relishes in the monster side and it engulfs him.

They tried the "Add to the character" thing. That's why they're rebotting the thing. :oldrazz: :cwink: :woot:

they didn't add anything to the hulk's persona in the last film

No, just his abilities, his origin, his dad, Betty, Talbot.........

which were all in the comics...except for his height..but, wait, that too was there....hmmm....

They were? Hmmmm I guess I don't know what I'm talking about. What Issue did his dad become the Partaking man? When did he grow as he got stronger? I foget get. You really what to go on about this Sava. I was just ribbing NR but if you want, I'm game. But first read what I posted in Jamons "I still Love Hulk" thread.

i read that, i think, i'll give you the growing part, Marvel did it too but they just never cam out and said they were doing ti. Did Bruce's father pass on something to Bruce, yes, Betty is basically a damsel in distress in Stan's comics anyway, they actually did one better there IMO, but yeah, you get that too, Talbot, most of him was there, he was after Betty, hated Banner, worked under Ross (eww). What about his abblities?... i dont get that one, he actually didnt do alot of what he does in the comics, but i dont think he did anything new. His Origin, yeah, that you get too.
Ross, he was different from in the comics but not like a whole lot, he was actually better than the one in Stan's comics IMO.
