Sequels Should Black Cat be the love interest in SM 4 and 5?

There appear to be a serious mischaracterization of who exactly Black Cat character is and purpose. She would be great in a live action film of Spiderman. Having other female characters from Spidey's lore has nothing to do with BlackCat role in a film.

As the previous poster mention, three females already exist, and they bring nothing to the story other than at some point in the trilogy, they have all at one time flirted with Peter. BlackCat bring a whole different dynamic to the film, along with the flirting. Which BTW, is what female characters does with the hero... just look at all the comic films out there. What else do you people expect female characters to do... which makes my point. BlackCat brings so much more; but if one don't know exactly who the character is, one would not understand that.

BTW, there is a huge difference between BlackCat & Catwoman... I would suggest many of you do your research.

We already have MJ who is his "true love", and after SM3 the unnecessary inclusion of Gwen so he really doesn't need more love interests...

As a villain or sidekick I think it would be a disaster, how could Black Cat possibly defeat Spider-Man or one of his super powered villains?

I think alot of fans need to realise the studio can't cram every character ever into the film series just because they exist in the comics, SM1 and SM2 worked because they focused on Peter, MJ and a villain. SM3 fell apart because there were 6 villains, 4 love interests, Peter's good side, Peter's bad side and Jonah Jameson's cleaner!!

Most of those characters were included to appease fans, so let's hope they don't make the same mistakes twice...

Agreed.
Black Cat can bring an interesting element to Spiderman franchise.
As I stated before, Black Cat was supposed to appear in Spiderman 2 alongside with Doc Ock. So I don't see why Sony wouldn't try to use Black Cat in Spiderman 4 or 5.

Costumes are similar. THeir fighting styles & overall motifs are very much alike. And they both started out as thieves, went good for the sake of having a shot at the hero, & now kind of teeter-totter.
