Black Cat could show Spiderman having fun for a change. They could do a wild chase scene across the new york rooftops.

and someone said before that black cat was a thief at first but selina had big cats do work for her or something like that when she first started. catwoman didn't become a thief until later so i've heard but idk for sure.

catwoman and black cat are different to me. black cat dosen't wear a mask with cat ears, black cat's hair is showing, black cat has fur on her costume, to my knowledge black cat dosen't have a grapple. has long platinum blonde hair and catwoman has black short hair.

These points are moot, of course they don't look exactly alright, otherwise there would be a lawsuit at hand.

And I think Felicia's had a grapple longer than Selina has; Selina used to just use her whip. As for the hair argument, in the 90's they both had pretty much the same hair on TV.

Also, if the Studio decides to use only one villain in Spiderman 4 (such as Lizard or Electro or Carnage), I think they should definitely include Black Cat with it.

I'm betting there will be two villians. Adding the Black Cat would over crowd the movie, which was the problem that SM3 had.

It actually wouldn't make sense to give him a lesser challenge after going up against Venom & Sandman. What one villain is equal to the both of them?

Well mentally as well as physically Lizard could prove to be his toughest foe.

He's still just one, though.
And where did that Deadpool clip come from?

Hulk vs Wolverine, I believe.

Well I was thinking that maybe they decides to use only one villain.
I'm saying, if there's only one villain, putting Black Cat there wouldn't make it too overcrowded.

You're right though.
After having Sandman and Venom, they really need to have a villain who can top both of them.
I think Electro can top both Sandman and Venom.

If they'd of used Venom the way he was meant to be used then no villain would have topped him :) But Electro would be a fine addition to the collection :D

I really don't see what more Venom could've brought to the table. Stalking? Making Peter fearful for his loved ones? Seriously, all that was covered already. What else does he have to offer?

fighting, something I totally missed in SM3.
and what does anyone else has to offer?
in the end it'll be all the same thing. the difference will be the challenge.

Fighting? He fought Harry & Sandman twice, & this was BEFORE the big four-way brawl.

pay attention to your question. you asked what else he could've brought to the table. what else, that the others aready didn't?
the only thing left is a harder fight, a more challenging one. Venom is superior to Spidey in brute force, but Spidey gains in brain power. that's how he'd win, differently from the others villains, like he did in SSM.
what else can any villain bring to the table besides putting the loved ones and the city at risk and offer a hard battle?
like I said, the only thing that'll change between the villains is the challenge. how Spidey will overcome it.

He did that, though. He countered everything Spidey threw at him, b/c he knew what Peter would do before he did it. Smack aside the web-line, shield the web-balls, pound him silly & web him, leaving him strugling with it as he plummets toward the ground. I'm sure by that point a pumpkin bomb or a tentacle would've seemed almost like a vacation.

true. too bad he got so little time and had Sandman in the equation.

I'd like to see Felicia introduced in this movie though full on Black Cat saved for sPidey 5.

No, absolutely not. I don't have anything against Black Cat, but in "SM 4," presumably a sequel in the Raimi universe, yet ANOTHER temptation and love triangle would be ridiculous. SM3 left the movie universe in a terrible position. There's just nowhere else to go.

Peter was already extremely depressed about not having MJ in SM2. She's the only girl for him, the love of his life. Peter actually jeopardizing his relationship with MJ in SM3 was just ridiculous given what we had seen before. It made him look like a fickle moron. How much worse would Peter look if he's tempted AGAIN in SM4?

The Spider-Man movie series needs to just end, wait a few years, and then reboot. Barring that, no more overused love triangle crap.

Excellent post! And wholeheartedly agree with end the series and reboot logic. And with the reboot.... DO IT RIGHT THIS TIME!!!!!

Remember when Ultimate sPider-Man broke up with MJ for her own safety and started dating Shadowcat because as a superhero herself, he didn't have to worry about her? There's your logic for Black Cat right there. After all, Peter and MJ never officially got back together at the end of SM3.

I think Wizard said it best, and I'm paraphrasing here, but "There's the girl you marry and there's the crazy chick you hang out with for a couple of month's because she's so damn hot." The dynamic would be so much fun because she's almost MJ's polar opposite.

Except it keeps them on the relationship roller coaster. We've seen him turn her down, we've seen her dump him. That really needs to be the end of the break-up/make-up cycle.

If you really look at Gwen's brief appearence(particular when she met MJ) Gwen was more like MJ than MJ. So I agree, we don't need anymore rollercoastal ride. Their relationship should have never been done that way in the first place.

Again, another reason why Sam & company should leave the franchise because of his continue mis-characterization.

To say Peter(a straight male) is does not find other girls attractive would call him unhuman. But plenty of guys can find girls attractive and not

a) Fall in love with them
B) cheat on their gf/wife

As long as Peter is in a relationship with Mj, then there is no other girl(that is how it is in the comics when the relationship is on and not wished away) since he's in love. Personally I dont think we need a rival. The only point of including another woman is to have the Hero question his love for his girl. Peter has already decided that in this world. Now as a non love interest and more bad guy.
