I would say yes as it allow her character to be explored further and give her a proper character and purpose discuss

Please tell me what you think
Avi Arad should cast Topher and Bryce dallas howard

The film should start off on a barren planet it shows the surface crusted with Symbiote. it then recaps on Spiderman 3 showing the events of the last half hour of the movie ending with the explosion. Screen opens to a deseted street Eddie Brock jnr is crawling on the ground pieces metal of stick

out of him as he crawls towards lttle fragments of Symbiote. Eddie begins to talk as he drags his maimed and broken body towards it " yes nearly there push not far now " a wet sticky fluids a mixture of blood and sweat leaks from underneath his shirt eventaully he reaches the Symbiote. Eddie passes out the strain to much for him everything goes black.

Meanwhile escaped convict Cletus kassidy is shot by police and staggers into an old church he spots a strange black pulsating creature Kassidy weakly mumurs" oh such a perfect creature it leaps on him as he approaches it.

Ok thats all ive got so far tell me what you think note this is not fanfiction it will be continued more will come tomorrow
Feel free to add your own ideas

It's impossible to tell how this rumoured 'spin off' will turn out. Since it's a spin off from Spider-man, one would assume it won't have Spiderman involved. That would raise questions such as

  • If there is no Spidey how does one explain Eddie coming across the symbiote? Should the film open with Eddie seperated by the symbiote?
If it follows the franchise it opens up difficult questions such as

  • Will Topher Grace reprise the role?
  • How does one explain the symbiote and Eddie (apparently you can see his skeleton but I haven't got the dvd) seemingly blowing up into thin air?
I was not impressed by S-M3, but I was always aware of what the deal Venom was going to get. I knew he was going to get short screen time, I didn't need spoilers to tell me that.

Ultimately I think it's best that they create the supposed Venom film using the franchise. Try their best to get Topher Grace back. I always got the impression from S-M3 that the Symbiote doesn't vanish, but retreats through the cracks of the site. I think the symbiote can recreate Eddie somehow. This is where I would use your previous ideas redhood. I like the notion of eddie getting closer to Gwen, showing his human side and his will to control the monster within him. Carnage would be the villain but I would not have Cillian Murphy playing the role, that is the wrong choice imho. Murphy would be the Carnage of the current Spider-man franchise and I believe it would be a very campy portrayal. Robert Knepper would be my choice for Carnage in a Venom spin off.

part 2 Eddie Crashes through the door of his apartment and crawls to his sink he is violently sick as he convulses The Symbiote starts to speak to him" shh Eddie just relax take deep breaths thats it good boy" Eddie lays

on the floor sobbing with pain " wh why are you doing this to me make the pain stop just make it stop" the Symbiote covers him it attaches to ceiling and spins a cocoon. Scene then cuts to kassidy he is sitting on a roof surveying his new playground" ah so fresh and ripe he swings off into the distance.

Five days later Gwen is knocking on Eddie,s door she calls through the letter box" Eddie urm if your in there im sorry if you just let me explain " the door swings open Eddies pale face emerges " yeah what do you want

Gwen". Gwen is rather surprised by Eddie and his cold reception as he is normally rather bouncy around her. " I just wondered if you wanted to go get some tea or something? Eddie gives her a look as if not sure what to do . Part of him thats ruled by the Symbiote rages that she would even come to inflict more pain on him while another part longs to feel her lips press against his " ille just get my coat some minutes later they set off

thats all ive got for now tell me what you think so far more coming soon

in part 3 Eddie talks to Gwen about his problems should he tell her about the Symbiote or not? note this is not fanfiction

I'd like to place my bet now that there will be no Venom movie.

SM3 was horrid, and worse still was Topher as Brock.

Any Venom film will have to have zip affiliation to SM3 to be any good.

I'd have Cillian Murphy play Carnage.

Also, why isn't this in Fan Fiction & Films or the Venom film thread?

Well, I think it all depends on if it fits. I mean, Brock probably knows by now that Gwen doesn't want him and that's probably not his main priority. It also depends on if the film is continuing where Spidey3 left off or if it is made so that Spidey3 never happened.

Yeah but he was preety delusinal might even think she will want me now because he
have a power

Is there a Venom film thread and this not meant to be fanfiction its just my ideas

There won't be a Venom spin-off. There simply isn't enough intrest in the character among the mainstream public. And it's a very hard sell anyway.

I don't think that they should ever make a Venom spin-off from 'Spider-Man 3', instead, just start a whole new franchise, explaining the character's origin, etc. I'd rather see them start off fresh with Venom instead of continuing the tradition of that train-wreck known as 'Spider-Man 3'.

Not saying I think it's a good idea. But main stream audience not interested in Venom? So the fact he was thrown in 3 was because of......

Venom only belongs in a Spiderman film and he was done so that the end of that.

For the Venom fanboys.

Yes because movies always cater to fanboys...:whatever:

If Venom wasn't mainstream there would be no heavy push for him in anything. But the bottom line is he is money. Whether you like him or not is your own personal issue.

Venom is a dollar magnet for sure. Anybody who thinks we've seen the last of the symbiotes, is simply out of touch with capitalist reality. Whether it will happen in a spidey movie or a spin off, I can't say, but the symbiote will be back.

In this case, they did. Sam Raimi said it himself that Arad came to him and said he had to put Venom in for the fans. Raimi obliged because he said he didn't want to let down the fans.

That's a fact.

Thus, is the reason why a director should never ever listen to fanboys!

However, this time I'm glad Raimi did. He killed the most overrated and overhyped villain on the planet. I can't thank him enough for that. He made it possible so that I don't have to worry about the character ever showing up in this franchise again. Sometimes, I watch Venom being killed 6 or 7 times a day. A wonderful way to end a movie! :D
