Should I buy Avengers Disassembled?

It's still stupid that they would even use an LMD when everybody involved already knows that Fury's gone underground. I mean, why would Stark want to talk to a damn Robot who is impersinating a guy who isn't even in charge of SHIELD anymore? Maybe it's not bad continuity, but it's still kinda dumb.

Honestly, I have this theory that sometimes artists just HATE new characters. Its why Gordon is back to being Comissioner and Ra's Al Ghul is back. No one liked their replacements not amongst fans but amongst the ARTISTS.

If the artist doesn't wanna draw her, get a new artist. Don't screw up the continuity because some *****e doesn't wanna follow protocol. And besides, I doubt that is the case anyway. But, hey, maybe they'll go into why this LMD of Fury is being used before the end of this arc. I would really like to find out just wtf is going on.

By artists, I also mean the authors. I doubt its the case that no one knows Maria Hill is the head of SHIELD, I think they probably think the story is more effective with Nick Fury doing the part.....in which case its Maria Hill's robot.

As for why she's doing it, I think no one trusts her.

BUT, I will say they are at least addressing the issue. Mercifully.

As for the crises, I personally enjoyed them both, GREATLY. I don't mind sweeping coninuity fixes as long as it means things will be FIXED.

Marvel's main problem with their contuinity is not informing their writers. Did you know that PAD had to ask after Banshee's death instead of it being told to him? Or how people are so inconsistent when it comes to the ONE Sentinels etc.? Most writers don't hear anything till they read the book at the same time we do. That's crazy.

Alot of that has to do with the total castration of the editors at Marvel. If they had any power whatsoever, we wouldn't have to deal with all the inconsistencies.

Oh I dont know, New Earth creating all new origins and histories for every character. I dont think theyre adding those back up stories in 52 just for fun.

when it comes to collecting 52 in trade form do you think all the back-stories will be collected seperately as a hand-book? thatd be cool. i feel sorry for those who dont want to buy 4extra books a month on 52 but then cannot keep up with current continuity because of it.

Yeah, theyre crappy, The History of the DCU told by one of the lamest characters in the history of DC, Donna Troy. Waste of 4 perfectly good pages. Though, I am looking forward to some of the origins.

NA - About 2 issues behind cival war, although it's not book destorying. No idea where Ronin went...is she in bed and can't hear the alarm?

She never officially joined the team in the comics, only helped them out. She may be around, but not every hero can be shown in the world. She simply doesn't tie into the storyline. However, Quesada has stated that she will return after Civil War.

Yeah, after they got done with Silver Samurai it was said that she would keep an eye on him and this new Hand/Hydra deal and how he handles himself.

It's not just Marvel's problem. DC has been hiring non-comic book writers as well. Like The Flash for instance, being written by the writer of the television show.

But I'll give you one non-comic writer at Marvel who has been strong with continuity. Charlie Huston, the writer of Moon Knight.

It seems like Bendis style, his comic big events suck but the fallouts are always much better when he doesnt have his hands on them. Heinberg on Young Avengers, Layla Miller in X-Factor, Son of M etc.
