Should I get Xbox 360 now or wait for PS3?

Wii lineup is easily the strongest. SSBM, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Sadness, Sonic Wild Fire, Red Steel, etc...


It rapes other consoles's lineup so far.

Not really. They have 2 games that look to be amazing (TP and MP3:C). Red Steel looks to be very good (atleast the gunplay ), Excite Truck looks good, and Wii Sports, although very simple, looks to be very fun. The whole Wii launch hasn't even been confirmed, but so far it's pretty good. Much better than the Gamecube launch.

Of course, Wii isn't depending on it's lineup anyway, nor is it trying to out do the other consoles with over the top promises of super power graphics, or giving us re-treads of their competitor's franchises. The Wii will be successful because it's cheap and will offer people something to do after playing long sessions of Halo/Metal Gear Solid /Final Fantasy. I actually think Nintendo has the right idea.

However, games like Resident Evil, the disaster game, a horror game called sadness and some others will make it worth a look.

Not really. Halo 3 is guaranteed to rape whatever Nintendo can put out, according to Halo 2's sales margin. Gears of War looks like one of THE best games of this generation... Mass Effect is shaping up to be the singlemost innovative RPG in this generation.. Maybe only bested by Fable 2 and not a rehash *coughFinalFantasy,Zeldacough* like some other franchises. The promise of JE2 is definitely good.. and if Too Human is fixed up with it's problems.. it could easily be killer as well.

Not to mention Bioshock and many others coming to the console.

It's pretty pre-mature to be analyzing the "Console Wars" anyway. I don't see any console failing at this point, nonetheless getting raped.

Most players on Xbox, and that I have met on XBL are at the same age range that you claim Nintendo is targeting. Maybe you should try to examine another consoles fanbase before you start spewing bull****.

You're not serious are you? About half of the 18+ audience have grown up with Mario and friends. To be honest, it's pretty smart of Nintendo to use those classic games as an incentive to buy a Wii.

I just heard about it too. And I'm sorry.. I can't believe I actually missed Dead Rising. Add that to the burgeoning X360 line-up.. and you've got the best line-up seen so far.

Still works fantastically. SMW is still one of the best games ever...same for LTTP.

My case and point the Wii line up impresses gamers with a wide range from 7and up.
