Thoughts? We all know she was in Superman III, but since SR doesn't really tie in to that maybe she can appear? I'd think it would be great and have some conflict between her, Lois, and Clark. I don't kow who would play her but i'm sure if she were to be in the sequel, someone could suit the role.

So what do you guys think?

Well because Lois and Richard might be getting married Lana is a must or Superman will have no love interest having Lana....

but in the end Clark should learn that Lana is engaged to Pete.....

True. Plus adding Lana would show that Lois is a bit jealous, and see where the love triangle goes.

Richard could marry Lana while Superman Marries Lois. That'd be perfect.

NO lana , I NEVER WANT TO SEE LANA LANG IN A SUPERMAN MOVIE Ever again .

No, i don't want anything from SIII

o, i see.....

it doesnt neccesairly mean that it wll make it connected to S III, Lana is important to superman mythos as you know...

We need new characters.....

Lana always makes things "interesting" for Superman, she makes it an oputrune time for FLASHBACKS!

Lana is like Gwen Stacy except Lana never died.....

Lana's Clark's best friend, I think. In this movie maybe she'd be like his chloe, someone who knows who he really is and can help him, maybe babysit for jason when he has to go save the world.

of course I think Lana should be in the sequel but that's just me. No, they shouldnt be weary ex-lovers or any of that nonsense. I dont think there's nothing wrong with making her a supporting character. I think Boywonder hit on the head in terms of what would be best in her apperance. Like or not, she's a major supporting character and has appeared at least once in every Superman adaptation (even in the George Reeves and Kirk Alyn series I believe)
So chill Clois fanboys, she aint gonna be like how she is in Smallville. As a fan of Kristin/Lana I hope they fix that too and add some respectability and likeabilty back to her. But Singer has an opportuinty to start fresh.
Bottom line is: She doesnt have to be in there, but she isnt gonna damage the movie in anyway ( I mean got Bosworth as Lois so how bad could it be?) but if she isnt it, it's all good *shrug*

Man the get the **** over it seriously. You constantly get criticised for you juvinile postings on here. Stop being such a lame Clois shipper. Everyone else takes the good with the bad regarding Lana and give a fair assesment but you stay acting like a the teenage fanboy you are

It would be pretty cool to have her in the sequel.

the ideal Lois Lane should look like Kristin Kreuk. i mean just look at her my god. that's what a beautiful, brainy bombshell should look like.

Respect. But the only other DC character I could see Kristin being was if she did the Jessica Biel workout plan and was cast as Cassandra Cain....

If this movie will be a direct sequel to Returns, then please have Lana and basically write Lois and Richard out. I love Lana Lang, and Smallville has mis-used her for sometime now. I always preffered Lana over Lois to be quite frank, but that has more to do with the kind of women I like. I always saw Lana as a represenation of the kind of life Clark would sometimes like to have, but knows he can't. The kind of life he would have if he did not have his amazing gifts and duty to the world.

The only thing Smallville did right with there version of Lana is the look that Kristin Kreuk posesses. I liked the change up from red head for two reasons. One, it seperates Lana from Mary-Jane Watson, and two, I don't really like red heads that much.

No thanks, Lana Lang is an after thought, shes been stalking superman since those old 50s Lois Lane comics.

No because I think she'll get in the way of the action.

I'm tired of the love crap, I want to see some awesome fight scenes.

I think it would be cool to see some more Superman characters from the comics...so I think she'd be a cool addition to the movie.
