Should Parents be notifed if teen daughter wants an abortion?

When I have kids I will teach them no matter what situation, problem, they can always come to me because I will always be there for them!!! If the bill is passed it will not protect children, it will endanger them! Imagine abusive parents, or extreme conservatives finding out there kids are going to get an abortion!!! Who know whats the parents are capable of doing. Or the Minor decide might take her own action by doing an unsafe abortion! Safety first!

people are already doing that, and i don't know if you noticed but some parents after giving birth to thier kids dump them out anyways, ever turn on the news and hear a new born baby was found in a dumpster or somewhere else? plenty of girls have had to perform their own abortion procedures. get a clue man, sound like your a very naive person and stuck on this omg shes a teenager she needs her own freedom. They are minors, until the age 18. anything beyond is out of the parents control, but anything below is still the parent's business.

New Califronia law where you can give your new born baby to a police station, or fire department. No questions asked! And now there's been shortage of babies in dumpsters as a result.

The children should then be thoroughly educated about the dangers of such non-professional techniques and tell them that such techniques should never be an option. They made a decision to have sex and such decisions come with consequences. Such consequence INCLUDES having the parents informed of any medical procedures thereafter. That should be taught to those kids. Can't deal with it? Don't get pregnant, then.
