Should Spider-Girl be 616-inated? And if so, how?

Like many fans, I'm annoyed be the fact that baby May has not been mentioned in years (except in MK Spidey). And I think by this point, it is safe to assume baby May will never rear her head again. I think she's dead as a doornail. Which is quite sad, considering the storyline possibilities that could have been.

However, I still think there is room for May in the 616 universe. How, I hear you ask? Well, lets look at the Spider-Girl book. A sort of "what if baby May was returned to the Parkers" book it is. The book has its fans, I've enjoyed a few issues of it myself, and its went strong past 100 issues. So I was thinking... why not do an Age Of Apocalypse style story in the Spider-Girl book?

What I mean is, I think they ought to do a story where Spider-Girl's universe gets destroyed, and she travels into the 616 universe. So Peter and MJ would have a fully grown daughter from an alternative universe!! Jean and Scott have had it done to them TWICE, why not do it with Peter and MJ?? Think about it. A fully grown daughter from a different reality would solve the issue of ageing Peter - he wouldn't have to age at all! Plus, May has had it VERY easy in her little world. Destroying her universe and everyone she loves would add a layer of tragedy to her character that I personally think is much needed. And she can then find a home with Peter and MJ. Plus, several of Spider-Girls' worst villains could make the crossover into 616 land too.

What do you guys think?

I might be in a minority, but I'm kinda glad there isn't any baby may in 616, I don't really find making Peter and MJ parents something I would really care about. I think making MJ a mother will actually weaken her character because there will be less things to do with her, the baby will just allways be there in the way.

Alltough I guess at the time when aunt May was actually dead a baby could have been good. But with current events as there are I feel baby will just get in the way and will allow much less freedom for the writers.

I do agree that having a grown up Spider-Girl in the 616 universe very interesting and defently something I would like to read, but there are 2 cons for such a scenario:
Spider-Girl is one of the few Marvel books that actually have good supporting cast, will be a shame to kill them off.
Spidey doesn't need a sidekick in his core books, the occasional team up is fun and all, but in the long run Spidey should do things on his on.

I do like the idea tho, will certainly spice things up. But the timing isn't so good now, better wait for all this unmasking and being an outlaw thing over with.

a meeting might be nice. but, like you said Jean and Scott had it happen twice...why do it again? its like beating a dead horse.

'Cause Peter should have a family by now, but Marvel doesn't wanna age him. Bringing Spider-Girl into 616 land would solve that problem.

Maybe her universe doesn't have to be destroyed. But there could be some reason why she can't go back.

I say keep pushing the current Spider-Girl book, because it's an interesting concept and with all the gimmicks in current 616 Spidey it is a breath of fresh air.

At the same time, I think Peter should eventually find baby May. They've already married Peter off, might as well go the full nine and give him a kid too. I think completely forgetting that it happened is stupid.

But you have to think about how long they've left it. Baby May would be... what, 2, 3 years old now? Even given Marvel's slow-time the baby will have aged. You can't have Peter and MJ miss out on her early years like that...

...me personally, I'm not a huge fan of alternate universe crossovers....I'd personally prefer seeing 616 May coming back and I'm far from convinced it's a lost cause
