I watched The Transformers yesterday. I thought it was pretty good actually. But that's not what this poll is about. During the battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron they talked. They didn't discuss gardening tips, they told each other what they were going to do to the other. Did this add to the scene or take away from it? Was it "Stupid" or "Cartoony" ? Did anyone think it was possible to have a Transformers live action movie? If Optimus Primes voice would have been different from the cartoon, would you have hated the movie more ? It's important for the main character to have a voice. So I ask here, taking this into consideration, do you think it would be stupid for the Hulk and Abomy to talk? Would it add or take away from the character? Or do you not care as long as the movies cool?

You didn't give an option for, "Yes" so I put "other". ;)

It's always about you.:cwink: :oldrazz: :woot: Well if there's a mod that see this could you please add a yes option. Thanks Cracker Jack

I voted other: I'd like them both to talk more than a little.

Most versions of Hulk don't care to speak much anyway but he does need to speak.

Talking is good.

I would like to see Hulk talk for a change.

It would look bad if they're trying to be a serious movie. Transformers worked for me when it stopped trying to be serious and started being a big budget action comedy. Which I don't like for a Hulk movie at all.

SPOILER CONTENT!!! Do not read unless you want to know! The experiment to cure Bruce ends up giving him a little more control and focuses Hulk's mind and then he is able to speak. Prior to that, the Hulk's senses are too amped up to talk. The rage/radiation assaults his mind, everything to him is like a bad acid trip before the meeting with Sterns aka The Leader. Now do you get it?

I don't care, one way or the other, just I don't think they should play Hulk off as mindless

Hulk should speak and I hope he does, and Abomination, they do in the comics they should in the movie, they're doing it more faithful so I think they would, and if they don't and they say some stupid crap like it would look too out there for him to talk then they should take a step back and realize they're making a movie about a big green man fighting a big green monster, uh duh!

What the hell's the big deal if he speaks! So dumb. Some of you people come up with the dumbest crap to say, if you don't want one thing it's another, he talks in the comic so get over it. The problem with these movies is taking away all the stuff that makes it what it is, then you end up with garbage, staring at it trying to picture it for what it is suppose to be, no Marvel movies have been good except for Spidey, Especially X-men, I don't even see the X-men, just some gay director's leather fetish, but no characters.

So please don't even start talking about such a small thing as speech, he should talk and that is all, talking is not going to make it look bad, that makes no sense at all, it's about a big green guy, I don't think talking will be what makes it look too out there. It's a comic, it should be out there and fun, and if you can't be fun with the Hulk then what's the point of all characters, then you end up with more Ang Lee HULK.

abomination should, hulk should let is fist do the talking and perhaps join in with some very very little dialogue...just like in the first movie

i would love for him to say 'Puny Human' to abomination after he defeats him.

Come on Who doesn't want to hear 'Hulk Smash'

Fans who are embarrassed by the source material and script writers who think they know better. :csad::cwink:

Most everyone else would enjoy it though...it is, after all, as much the big guys catchphrase as "Clobbering Time" is for the Thing and they used that in both FF films.

He may begin to call himself that if the military keeps referring to him as Hulk while in that form. And he would never call himself Banner obviously. I think he needs to talk so the audience can relate more. You can get what he's feeling if he's a mute, but it works more if you hear it.

"A little" kind of how they did with Schwarzenegger in Conan. :cwink:

I've been trying to steer clear of this topic but I'm just gonna through my two cents in.
I don't need the Hulk to talk for the whole film...however, one thing I've been waiting to see ever since 2003 is for the Hulk to say, "Hulk smash" JUST ONCE. Perfect time would be right before his fight with Abomb. Then the "Betty" line should follow later on. I don't think this would be too much to ask.

"hulk smash",or "hulk smash puny(then a name for Abom)",and a "hulk strongest one there is",would be great
