Siege

Damn I read WCA and I don't remember all that. I thought Panny got his demons from mephisto and they became part of his soul (so they no longer belonged to mephisto) and since the SW used those to make her children she was effectively steally part of Panny's soul. It's been a while though and I could be wrong. Wasn't there a mini about this in YA?

And yeah, ares, moonstone and noh varr better not die. Wouldn't mind seeing Bullseye kick the bucket though. The hand could always bring him back.
Speed and Wiccan met Pandemonium in their Young Avengers Presents issue. I don't remember exactly what happened, but I think Pandemonium just explained their backstory, told them he couldn't help them find their mother, and that was that.

That sounds pretty sucky, I'd like to see more of Speed. His using kinetic force to blow up objects made a lot of sense for a speedster to be able to do. Plus I just like speedsters in general.

Yeah, I bet Heinberg totally stole that from the DC speedsters' use of the Speed Force. But that's cool; it does very much make sense for a speedster.

The thought of Osborn having any kind of power over Mephisto makes me almost as ill as the thought of his having any power over Odin. Manipulating your way into a politically powerful position is one thing. Holding sway over guys who can get away with punching Galactus in the face is quite another, and Osborn's way too small-time for that.

To be fair, Mephisto is exactly the kind of person who would make people not even in his league THINK they're the one running the show, when in fact they are digging their own grave. That's kinda Mephisto's thing...

Regardless, it irks me! :argh:!

Yes, I put an exclamation after the face!

Thanks. My friends and I checked it out and it turns out hornets actually do make honey, but it's "allegedly" poisonous.

I just love that Charlie was still open to the idea that wasps might make other things, even if honey was a bust. Oh, Charlie. :awesome:

Charlie's awesome. You know he's actually married to the waitress? That's just funny as hell.

Quaker, that's some fearsome stuff right there.

Do Quakers make honey?

I think they make Oats...

I still remember our fight song:
" Fight, Fight, Inner Light!
Kill, Quakers, Kill!
Knock 'em Down, Beat 'em Senseless!
Do It 'til We Reach Consensus! "

I have no idea what's going on.

Yeah, I knew about that. I was watching the first and second seasons again the other day and it was really weird watching them totally at each other's throat knowing that. :)

''Bendis answers fan questions on Twitter''

* Siege will result in "the biggest change in over a decade" for the Avengers and their team line-up. Two things that won't change, however, are the team's writer and its artist, Stuart Immonen, both of whom are with New Avengers for the long haul.

But Bendis wasn't all answers--he punted on questions regarding the current and future status of Carnage, the Scarlet Witch, and Molecule Man, which unexpected post-Siege Avengers characters he'd be writing, and whether he'd be writing Marvelman anytime soon.

* Plans for Namor and the Atlanteans are in place for next year.

* You knew it would have to happen eventually: There will be "a proper showdown" between Spider-Man and Norman Osborn.

* Look for an announcement about the post-Siege fate of Dark Avengers "very very soon".

* The secrets of how the Sentry survived the events of Dark Avengers #9 and what he did after being sent to outer space by Cyclops in the Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men crossover will be revealed in January's Dark Avengers #13.

* Not sure how this ends well for Dark Wolverine, but there's a Daken/Thor showdown on the way in Siege.

Hopefully not. Anybody else think by the teaser photo that Bucky is going to don the Iron Man armor for Siege?

Just asking. Since Steve is returning, Tony is in a coma and Thor has swore never to work with Stark again.

God, let's hope that's one that Marvel won't fudge. I mean if Thor loses to Draken, to ****ing Draken, then what the hell, man?
