Sin City a "gimmick" movie?

    I'm having an argument with someone who claims that Sin City is a gimmick movie due to the way it was filmed.

    I'm trying to set the point across that it's not a "gimmick movie" due to the fact that the Graphic Novels look exactly like how it was filmed

    Do you feel that Sin City is a "gimmick" movie?

    Shouldn't the correct question be 'is the comic a gimmick?'

    And yes I'd say the film is gimmicky.
