Superman Returns Singer to announce zod at con???

as some of you may know bryan is going to appear at the con. Im here in san diego now a little early and have been hanging with some of the fans and there is buzz galore about singer making a sequel announcement involving zod. can anyone confirm this??

I certainly hope Zod isn't the villain used in the sequel. One of the problems I had with this film was that it was too much of a homage to STM and didn't quite measure up.

For pete's sake, if Singer wants to do a film relating to Superman's past and Krypton's history while at the same time being relevant to his current status, use BRAINIAC. He's a very formidable opponent and an interesting one.

Yeah logically one would think that would be the case. It's just the thought of having Zod in the sequel is enough to make your blood run cold

lol agreed,i mean there isnt much improvement you can make with Zod on an acting level and the action sequence at the end of STM 2 is still pretty great even now so i see no advantage to using him especially when villains like Brainiac and Metallo can be realised to stunning effect onscreen now with todays Tech

lol if they announce ZOD, and a sequel to be made even though this movie is a flop then the WB really is being ran by a bunch of idiots!
Zod in a sequel will put the final nail on the coffin for this series... If this Superman Returns hasn't done that already.
Another movie with ZOD & LEX would make less money then Superman Returns. Believe that...

I swear if I hear ANYTHING about Zod being in the sequel, I will be unable to be excited about the movie. Not excited about a SUPERMAN movie.
