Skepticism regarding Suicide Squad

Here people who think different and had some skepticism can fully put it without seeing those things repeatedly on different threads again and again causing long pointless debates and fights when some of us look speculation, dicussion about things related to the film and we got lost between really long off-topics.

Barring one or two exceptions, I wasn't too impressed with the suits, but every thing else about this movie sounds good.

I hope this thread is more respectful to skeptics than the one in the BvS forum.

What I do like about the BvS skepticism thread is that it's a place where people can air their grievances without bringing everyone else down.

I think it'll be fine. It's the only title they've used in any press related instances. Fear not!

Edit: I like to this this thread is open to non-skeptics as well. I just think it's important that we come from a place of understanding when posting in here. I don't think it's right to dump on people for not being happy with every little thing.

That's a legitimate concern, but to the media this film is called Suicide Squad. I think if WB wanted a different title they would have announced it from the start.

I would be extremely disappointed in WB if they changed it to Task Force X or something.

This. This is the only thing worrying me at the moment. Beyond that, I am beyond hyped for this. It has one of the best casts ever assembled for a CBM (definitely the most diverse) and has a quality writer/director behind it.

If SS ends up being as good as we hope it'll be there won't be any more skepticism threads.

It's open to everyone Hence why I put "people who has skeptisism" or with different opinions.

I take no issue with people voicing their legitimate concerns with the movie, but inevitably it will attract those who just want to dump on it with absolutely nothing constructive to say, what-so-ever. I suppose that's a good thing, though; I would rather have them here than infecting the other threads.

Hmmm... well, the only thing at this point that worries me is the idea that Ike Barinholtz might be playing Hugo Strange. I doubt that he actually is though, since that came from El Mayimbe. But if it's true... Strange is one of my favorite Batman villains and Barinholtz is probably one of my least favorite actors so that would worry me.

Other than that though... I like pretty much all of it. The rest of the actors range from good to great. Ayer is awesome. The costumes look good.

As it stands, the idea of the film and the potential of how much it opens up the DCCU trumps my general indifference to what we've seen thus far in terms of the look of the film.

I wonder if the passion will come out a bit with the first footage. People had preconceived notions surrounding BvS on account of MOS, and I wonder how people will react with some actual movie clips.

My worries lie with Harley. I think Margot's going to do fantastic, but I'm worried about the writing and the costume's pretty bad. That's really all I'm worried about though, everything else looks great to me.
