It's simple, Activision let it go because they knew they couldn't make a new one every year.

So true, it's sad. Activision tends to put out more yearly title's than SNK puts out a damn King of Fighters game

Its absolutely better than Saints Row(in both controls, visuals and the open world you inhabit). Im not quite sure it tops GTA IV tho. GTA IV had a great looking open world and the physics were top notch. However, the combat and gunplay are MUCH better here than they are in GTA, but even tho they are open world games, they feel completely unique.

I can't wait to see what other clothes are available that are borrowed from Honk Kong action films, I hope they have either The Black Mask or Kato's mask from Green Hornet, that would be the icing on the cake for me

Thanks for the responses. It was either this or Madden, but the madden demo is pretty boring, so I think i'll run out and get this instead.

Dude I felt the same way. I was already turned off madden due to some missing features but I played the demo and was bored to tears. Don't know why but both NCAA and madden bores me this yr. NBA 2K12 has spoiled me on all other sports games

But yea, this is a super fun title. If ur into like the hong kong action movies, ull dig this.

Without a doubt. Everything from story to gameplay is superior, IMO. I've never gotten into the stories for either Gta or SR, and have never finished a game in either series, but this one fully has my interest and attention. The gameplay is head over heels better than either of them as well.

Jackie Chans outfit from Rumble in the Bronx is also in this game. Damn this title has so much style its crazy. Love it.

Bah, you like Michael Bay robots...Your opinion on Transformers is null and void.

I've had this preordered since it was True Crime: Hong Kong... I can wait a lil' longer.

Bought the game today! 4 hours in and I've only done 2 story missions. Been spending time doing face missions and case missions. I. Love. This. Game.

1) The story is one of the best I've seen this gen, very engrossing and well acted.

2) The combat is fluid, and it's a marvel that it isn't a button masher. You actually have to remember combos and you have to always keep yourself in a position to counter.

3) Parkour is great, on foot chase sequences literally breathe life. So refreshing and a lot of fun.

4) Driving is absolutely spot on.

5) Hong Kong is a living, breathing city. It's so congested, so lifelike, and is gorgeous.

Only problem I encounter so far is the icon to change clothes at your apartment won't show up.

How is the driving compared to GTA IV? I've never found a game with the same fluid driving, or the same brutal accidents when you have a crash.

Sleeping Dogs sounds really good and while the driving wouldn't be enough to put me off, if it's good it might be enough to get me to buy it sooner.

Bought the game today as it was pretty damn cheap. Not a single cent was wasted, such a surprisingly good game. It could be the sleeper hit of the year.
