^could be... we'll see... could be the new trailer, who knows:)

can we please stop with those fanboy logic. :cmad:
showing more footage doesnt mean more money.
just because you want to see venom that doesnt mean that showing him is good for promotion.

Exactly!
Thats why I'm not even expecting a new trailer. If a new trailer is shown, its not exactly for the benefit of the casual audience but instead, giving in to the chronic whinings of internet fanboys. Sony can market this movie with the stuff they've already released, which is more than enough.

So,so far we don't even know of anyone that's going to this function.
But I'm sure this thread will be blazing the day of.

I seriously need to set the record straight (at least for my self)... I do NOT wanna see a trailer filled with all the cool stuff from the film, far from it... And I absolutely agree that they SHOULDN'T show a lot more, and that showing VENOM will NOT increase the Box-Office. Saving him as a cool surprise at the end off the film will be so badass!...

I wanna see a new trailer because I honnestly dont think that the previous one was all that good. For me, it's more how they choose to display the footage, in terms of editing, music, intensity, and the overall energetic feel the trailer delievers as a whole... The trailer's for spidey 1 and 2 did this with flying color.. and KNOWING that spidey 3 is definitly the biggest of them all, I just thought that the theatrical trailer was a bit underwhelming, that's all... I guess I'm just hoping that the absolute badass trailer is still to come... It doesn't mean that I want them to show all the good stuff, I just wish for them to present what ever they show with a serious dramatic intense feel; I can't explain it better then that.

I hope that the tv-spots will be absolutely cool!

You don't need to explain it better than that; it was very well put. :)

I just want to say that, I dont think we'll ever get a spidey trailer that can capture the intense excitement that matches or surpasses the trailer for the 1st movie.
That being said, I dont think we need a new trailer. I think the trailer we have already does what you want BUT sony, with regards to the spidey movies are marketing ****es and upon having a little think about this, I think sony will definately give us a new trailer ut at the same time, I'm prepared for if we dont get one.

It isn't fan boy logic, cause I ain't a fan boy and I'm one of those asses thank you very much... good day!:o

And I don't remember saying anything about Venom.

And what the hell are you angry for? Geeze. Grow up.

My absolute favorite is STILL the first theatrical trailer for spidey 1!!! Nothing beats that one HAHA!

I have lived in Southern California all my life and I was able to go to Comic-Con this summer. I moved to the Bay Area at the end of summer and now I can possibly go to this. I'm stoked!

I'm not sure what to expect they'll show though. Will it be footage we've all seen already, but packaged in a different manner? I'm not going to disappoint myself by expecting anything. Perhaps they'll show the Harry footage they showed at that electronics show?

Am I the only one that would almost rather see Venom on May 4? Such a masochistic way to build up anticipation... but at the same time, GAH, impatience for Venom on my end.

I can't believe how much you people *********e over trailers. Sometimes, I think that movie studios should just line up about 100 two minute trailers, no movie, and put it in theaters. You can sit there and pick out the ones you like best for 2 hours.

Trust me we will get new footage on Saturday. I hope someone can take a camera or cell phone or even a description would be great.

I honestly do not know how to respond to this...

..but I will say you speak the truth, which is why I left these boards, instead of constantly sticking around here going "OMG!@2 VENOM is teh *****,1"...because now, honestly, I am MUCH more excited about Spider-man 3...I still spoiled myself a lot in the last year with it, but now...its closer to coming out, and I haven't ruined the entire movie for myself...but man, last year I was a total flaming fanboy...a little too much...especially around Comic-Con time. I know I can't help it sometimes, but I have done so successfully in the last couple of weeks with staying away from these Spidey boards...of course, that will probably change come late April. :ninja:

CAH

It wont be allowed to bring in a video camera to tape this, you're dreaming! I'll bet even your cell-phones will be removed from you during this presentation... So let's just hope we get a juicey description of it!!!

they cant remove your cell phones. no way theyd be able to keep everybodys separate
