Smallville similarities and Nods in MOS

To MOS is very much a Smalliville inspired Superman film , from plot points to tone. It wasn't a light upbeat series in the beginning at least, and the moments of levity were often unintentional because alot of the episodes were so bad they were funny.

You had a brooding angsty Clark for many episodes of the series, you had alot of changes to the myth such as Kryptonians being on earth in the past , how the circumstances under which Johnathan Kent died, Lois knowing Clark's secret before he becomes Superman, and several other changes which some fans have issue with MOS doing similar things.

It seems to me that if you had been watching Smallivlle for several years , alot of the changes and the tone in MOS shouldn't have been some great shock to you imo.

Most of the similarities I mentioned in another thread was mentioned in this thread, but there is one more that I noticed that I was a little wrong on because I thought it happened in the prom episode, but it was actually the dance from the pilot episode that Clark skipped:

In season one Clark was going to go to the dance, but skips it when he finds out Lana is going with Whitney. Of course Whitney and the football team strings up Clark like a scarecrow so to get back at them he stacks their trucks on top of each other. As Whitney is leaving the dance he sees it which is almost similar to the trucker who had his truck destroyed by Clark in Man of Steel:

The red truck the bullies drag Clark out of and that Zod (I think) throws into the house is the same model Dodge that was used in Smallville.
