Babydoll :hrt:

I have a feeling that old man is gonna be awesome too.

i am so glad Amanda Seyfried dropped out because she would not of looked as good as Browning imo

I was hoping Browning would get it because she could be the next 'it' girl. With her SEXY POUTY LIPS! :)

So you don't need to stick to imagination. :whatever:

Yeah, but I'd have to go through all the trouble of either A)renting the movies or B) doing a 10 second google search and honestly, who has time???

I was surprised, I recently found out she was the older sister in A Series of Unfortunate Events. She's Australian too. :hrt:

those lips were made for ..................... walking ............. :)

Jesus, not every damn movie needs to be an award worthy kind of movie. Even though you dug Dawn Of The Dead, which is strange(not that I hate Dawn Of The Dead). And I think that you're just hating for the sake of hating out of boredom, how is it that the female characters are jailbait? I know for a fact that you weren't initially drawn to this movie, which means you couldn't have known that(that the girls are jailbait) because of how this movie wasn't on your radar before. Seemingly. And you don't realize that you just insulted every person in this thread who is looking forward to the movie.

Easy, tiger. I didn't insult anybody. I watched the trailer because I think Snyder can be an interesting director. I thought his DOTD remake was really good and got overlooked because it was a remake. It is still his best film to date, IMO. H e hadn't fallen in love with CGI yet and James Gunn was a good influence on him.

I merely commented that while Watchmen may have been too much, it was still a good movie and he could continue exploring denser material like it, just not in a 3-hour novel-structured film.

This is a return to 300, which I hated. Can I not state that as my opinion? You seem to go after anybody who disagrees with you and need to take it down 11 notches. I thought 300 was boring...this looks like 300. That is all I had to say.

BTW if you don't think a bunch of girls who look like they're barely 18 (I know they're mostly in their 20s in reality) are playing teenage girls trapped in an asylum/brothel where they dress in incredibly skimpy/hypersexualized outfits including the "sexy schoolgirl" is not somewhat jailbait-ish....well I don't have much to say then.

He doesn't like that not everyone has a hard on for preachy movies as much as he doe's imo. It's just how I feel so don't take it the wrong way.

Oh, you know me personally, as well?

Some of my favorite films of this year were: Kick-Ass, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and Get Him to the Greek. The first two were action films that were highly stylized and the latter was a raunchy R-rated comedy. Yeah I love movies like The Social Network, The Town, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, etc. but you have a lot of nerve saying that is all I like.

The only person trying to impose their opinion and tastes on everyone else here is you, I am afraid.

I personally love all of Zach Snyders works, even though most of them needed work in the screenplay area

Whatever, and to answer your question I never said that I know you personally and I didn't suggest that I did either. Please, you're not that important that it is some kind of a necessity, getting to know you well that is. You may have liked those movies that you named, but I don't actually believe that you aren't really infatuated with preachy/award worthy movies. It's funny that you insulted this movie since you saw a movie that you enjoyed that managed to get the attention of 13-16 year old males. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World was PG-13 after all. I never said that you only like preachy/award worth movies,I said that you seem to have too much of a hard on for them.

Like I said, you don't know how old these characters are in the movie. You trolled this thread on purpose,if you had kept your negative views towards this movie short then I wouldn't have considered you being a troll by saying a certain thing in this thread. I'm done arguing with you.

The outfits look amazing in this film. Really amazing. =P Also, very impressed with what we've seen so far of the cinematography and style of the film.
School girl ftw?

I'm glad you don't care about me, like at all. But why do you keep trying to psychonanalyze me as some snobby elitist? Did I insult some movie you loved months or years ago, because I have no idea where this is coming from. I appreciate good movies, sorry if some of them don't have explosions. But seriously where does this hostility come from?

??? Again, I rarely comment in this section anymore, so what movie did I diss years ago that you're taking things so personally about? I have not commented on your near obsession with this movie that you seem to be the only "getting a hard on" around here. :oldrazz:

Ok, Ok, that was low. But yeah I enjoyed SCPVTW because it was a good movie. It was witty, well written and visually fascinating. I also found it hilarious. And Ramona didn't need to wear skin tight leather or a Sailor Moon outfit....then again it may have made more money if it had done that.

Trolling? I stated my opinion and you have insulted me in about a half dozen posts since that one post. I commented once yesterday and you're acting like a five year old. That's not arguing. That's a temper tantrum. Grow up.

True, but I really don't mind the lack of depth in his screenplays. I find the movies to be a lot of fun.

Personally I think that while its a bit more of a step in that direction, that It will be better than 300. Even if all of this is a bunch of battle sequences strung together like 300 was, at least the battles will be different lol.

but you see its not a problem when its na original movie or when the comic didnt have a lot of depth.

the problems starts when you try to make a movie about a book,comic,anime,... that has a lot of depth.

this is why i f... love SP. it brainless, fun, hot, sexy and badass. and Snyder deserves f... huge respect for making a movie where the main characters are all female.

something that i was waiting for years in this idiotic hollywood.

I thought DOTD had the right amount of depth. It wasn't 28 Days Later, but it was a lot more fun. All the major characters in it were well developed and I cared if they made it out. It was a quirky, funny horror film and hit all the right notes. But that was also a screenplay by James Gunn (Slither, Super), so it didn't need much work.

I think the problem with Watchmen was structure. Snyder was in a damned if he does, damned if he doesn't situation. He could have drastically restructured the film and kept it an ensemble...but made it a lot less meandering and chapter-oriented. It started and stopped like a ponderous novel...which it was based on. I think given the fanboy expectations he did the best he could with that film and he did make some truly great scenes. In fact some of the best stuff was his original ideas, like the opening montage of world events with superheroes and how he used Philip Glass to tell the origin of Dr. Manhattan.

Sucker Punch is his first original idea. I was hoping for something a little weightier, but going back to my original point it does visually look intriguing. I'm waiting for reviews from the fans to see what it's like, but it should be a hit...which he needs going into Superman, obviously.

It's about time that someone really get's the chance to break the mold.

Honestly after watching the second trailer again, I want to see this movie even more!

You mean like Watchmen?
