so...anyone watch PRIMEVAL?

I like Primeval, and it's not because Claudia/Jenny is super-hot. Honestly, it's not.

Okay, it's not only because of that. :o

so i watched this this morning due to being out last night on a forced works do thing...

really liked that they've actually done more in one episode to advance the story than in series 2. the idea that anomalies can be "caged" and the monsters other than future predators and random dinosaurs.

also the ending was kinda like "what the bloody crap:huh:"

Looks like we've got a scary ****ing cat beast next week. Another future predator it seems.

Cool, didn't know that season 3 started...gonna have to download it tonight.

rewatched ep 3.02 lastnight and i have to say, the cgi really has come on a whole lot since series 1, i thought that was good!

the guys at impossible pictures really do a fantastic job on this series and i hope they get some kind of award for it:up: they're much better than the mill that do the cgi for dr who/torchwood if you ask me

do you think wotsisname will become a regular, the cop who resigned.....i forget his name....

Probably. He's played by Jason Flemyng and Flemyng's name is in the credits. I bet he'll start snooping around Cutter's operation and wind up joining.

Although, that makes me wonder what's gonna happen to the prettyboy Stephen replacement. I mean, a DC's basically about as good as a military guy.

in a trailer it showed him talking to lester saying "i want in" and he's a big name actor and he's been shown in other trailers with different monsters...

also i think something happens to cutter in the next few eps so...

Pretty sure [blackout]Helen clones Cutter using the DNA samples she collected at the end of episode 2[/blackout].

yeh, but i'm talking about what happens to the real cutter...

i've heard deathvia shooting and thrown into an anomaly are possibilities :wow:

odd indeed...

but i hope the viewing figures keep up this week since it's up against dr who...i know what i'll be watching:up:

yeh, this saturday...

primeval and who overlap by a half hour

So excited to watch it on Sci Fi. I've already got the first two series on DVD, but being able to watch it on TV makes it feel more special. I've downloaded to first two episodes of the third series. Does anyone know if this series is going to last longer?

looks more like a bat to me...

Could be a raccoon or hyrax for all we know, considering the paths evolution takes. I just figured it was a cat because we've already seen future bats in seasons 1 and 2.

Well anyway, I just watched the ep. It set itself up pretty well but I kind of hated the last 10 minutes. After leaving Abby unscathed and being fed by a 12year old girl, Gremlincat suddenly kills the poor realtor, goes back home and then jumps back out to randomly attack Jenny before getting shot to death back into the anomaly by an absolute *****ebag. "Hey, sorry I was about to kill you, buddy. I thought you were a brilliant criminal mastermind when you were thirteen and sPent each year since riding your ass over that traumatic event." :down

I like Helen shes one of the few villainess on tv who actually is a good villain plus if your gonna have an archenemy an ex-wife would fit the role.

Laila Rouass is hot as usual glad shes on the show.

This weekend is going to be excellent. Primeval, The return of Doctor Who and Red Dwarf and theres that Skellig on Sky One starring Tim Roth, John Simm and Kelly Mcdonald......:woot:

Episode 3 of series 3 looks sick. I hope Jason Fleming becomes a regular character, he was awesome in the last episode.

I like Captain Becker. Hope he hangs around.

Fleming will indeed hang around for a bit, so you'll be happy:up:

I haven't read any of the recent posts....season 3 has not started over here in America yet.....

Wow what started off as an average monster of the week episode turned into a real game changer :wow:

The makers of the show got some big stones and I guess we know why Jason Fleming joined the show.

With Cutter dead I guess needed thats why Sarah Page taking over some of the science stuff Cutter does and Jason Flemyng taking over some of the more action stuff Cutter does join the team.
