Not a fan of Abby's haircut this series. Not really a fan of the whole uber-punk look she's adopted, in fact. I mean, yeah, she had some punk overtones to her style in previous series, but she looks really dirty and grungy this series.

Yeah, I'm glad they dropped that subplot. It might've been decent some other time, but with the double-whammy of Cutter's death and the introduction of a new faction under Christina (Johnson, I think? Can't remember her last name), the reporters just became an annoying distraction.

Anyway, that was a great episode. Jason Flemyng's character is awesome and I love how Jenny and Connor, the two closest people to Cutter, have naturally become the focus of the show. It's fun seeing them try to work everything out on their own without Cutter's very calm, stabilizing presence. Becker also continues to be badass, although his actor's name still isn't in the credits so I have a feeling he might get killed off soon, possibly to "make room" (as if that's really necessary) for Flemyng's character. Which will suck.

Is anybody else finding it a little odd no one cares that Connor and Abby's apartment is becoming a menagerie for prehistoric critters?

I haven't warmed to Becker yet he needs to develop more. Considering how of the monsters are in London its about time they had a cockney on the show.

Fungus monster was cool I hope their are more monsters like this and less dinosaurs which tend to be a bit boring in comparison.

Danny basically hounded them until he got the job which was funny.

The fungus monster was really stupid to me. Other than that, though, the episode was awesome. I'm glad Danny's officially on the team now. Of course, it had to be tempered by the crappiness of Jenny leaving, but without Cutter, I suppose she doesn't have much of a character arc left in the producers' minds. I was rather enjoying her trasformation from stuck-up PR woman to ARC leader, but whatever.

Hmm, I did not know that. I figured all bets were off at this point, given the cast changes so far.

And Becker's continued absence from the main cast credits still disturbs me. I see gruesome, violent death in his future.

i doubt they'd kill off mr shooty gun man for the 3rd time in as many series...they're clearly smarter than that since they've had what felt like the last ep of the series as the 3rd ep then they obviously have an actual plan this series, like in series 1

I want to believe you're right. They have, after all, given Becker something of a personality, as opposed to the other soldier dudes. He even has a kind of brotherly camaraderie going with Connor, which I like. But, by the very nature of his job, he is clearly the most expendable, and they've done it several times before.

i don't think becker will die. hopefully since he has a personality they've boteher to develop then he won't die...

Nope, I don't miss any of them. Maybe Helen a little bit, but Christina's much more devious and interesting because of the shadowy government connection. All Helen could do is shoot the ARC people; Christina can really f*** with them.
