so...anyone watch PRIMEVAL?

Wait . . . was Ethan the brother that got chopped up?

Ethan is Danny's brother. He just disapeared one day and Danny looked for him and then gave up once he joined the ARC fellows. Then that episode happened and they're both probably hit birds with sticks...

You know, if I didn't know there was another series coming I could see why they'd kill the show right now. Over all it felt like a massive step back from series 3. It just felt so bland, every episode. The best episode was the last one and only because Danny beat a bird with a stick. It comes to something when they've made a show about dinosaurs and world ending rips in time and it feels dull.

Yeah, this series definitely wasn't as good as series 3. It's just been okay. Ethan turning out to be Danny's long-lost brother was kind of lame. I hate that kind of thing.

I watched Primeval the other night. It was the episode with 3 kids in detention on a Saturday, with 1 Teacher on the premises. How accurate is that? Wouldn't there be more than 4 people in the school? Anyhow, I was wondering, when it was over, how would the team cover up what had happened? They have living witnesses that are unlikely not to talk.

Ok, spoiler alert, one of the survivors was a teenage kid. Now, I grant you many teenagers are into cash, but they also want recognition. A lot of teenagers I know would pass on the cash just to be famous. (Not to mention, the smarter ones would realize they'd get cash being famous - book and movie deals)

... Okay then... Cash and a threat of jail for some reason... have to admit i missed that episode as i was at a motor show that day

The show is rediculous and they've never been big on realism(even with time-dimension warping dinosaurs aside). Getting caught up on "shouldn't there be more people in the school.. shouldn't this have gotten out by now?" is silly. Obviously it should be out by now.. most times the "entire team" sent to go deal with this is like 5 people. At most.

Yeah, they have the most worthless backup ever. "Call for backup." Twenty minutes later, 2 extra guys show up and promptly get eaten.

Depending on how this wraps up and how much I like it, I may or may not pick up the complete series and then cut together a version of the show focusing mainly on the mythology heavy episodes.

Just incase anyone cares and isn't aware, the second half of the new series begins in about a half hour on Watch...

I don't know about you lot but I'm not sure I can handle the thrill a minute world where we find out what happened to Connor after he was driven away in that heart stopping cliff hanger...

Dammit.... can't get Watch here....

I had almost forgotten this show. I left at episode 2 or 3 of the season 4.
Does someone can spoil me the story between Connor and the new boss, the secret research team thing ?

That last episode was actually a return to the series 1/2 style of things. Not as good as series 3, but then again, no Danny. The plots actually moved forward in this episode but I think they'll probably grind to a hault next episode while people act thick about stuff thats painfully obvious for the viewer.

Matt, the new team leader, is actually from the future. He came back to the present to stop something that ARC will do that will lead to Earth's slow demise in his future. Problem is, he doesn't know what that is yet. He suspects it has something to do with the research Philip and now Connor are doing, so he's spying on them from within ARC.

Wait, new episodes are on? Is BBC America airing them yet?

Thank you.
Do we know what Philip and Connor are doing ?

Phillip is looking to use the portals as 'clean' power sources.... with what looked to be two giant stargate-like devices in what looked to be a nuclear power station.

Connor is being played like a cheap piano here...

That's what Phillip says, but I suspect there may be something else going on. He's a very shady character. Like a human oak tree, he's so shady.
