I hate how everyone or anyone who supports Miles say "peter parker is boring his story has been done to death. We need a black person as spiderman. Peter is whiney ***** while Miles is more interesting".

The stories that were told arent even half of spideys lore and Miles is a cool character but dont put the original down just to try and be cool and edgy. Yea its a new spiderman story and yea its peter parker does that mean its the same story? No! just because sony decided to retell the raimi spiderman story again doesnt mean freaking marvel will.
It makes me angry when people who dont know about a character bring the character down because they are ignorant to the source. Saying peter parker is a boring character and wanting to replace him with Miles is a shame. I cant believe we have people considering this idea.

If you like Miles fine but dont diss the original just so can feel original in saying "hey lets make this character black".
We have numerous character we have or can make a person of color.

I like Peter Parker and I'm glad he got five movies. I voted for Miles, though. His everyday life is more in tuned with actual teens and real people, something Peter use to do but the times (and the character, understandably) has changed.

But they can easily make MCu spiderman more relatable and the things spiderman goes through both Miles and peter are intune with what we go through everyday. From aunt may dying to miles dealing with living up to the mantle as spiderman. both are rich stories that are great but peter parker hasnt even gotten to his major story archs yet besides the night when gwen died. And people didnt really seem to like that much.

I vote Peter just because I'd want to see him being the first Spider-Man interacting with the Avengers. This doesn't mean I'm against Miles ever being in the MCU but Spidey's first outing in the MCU should be the one who kicked it off.

I get the argument that having Miles as the first MCU Spider-Man would set him apart from the previous Spider-Man franchises so that people don't feel like they're getting the same ol Spidey but it needs to be Peter first. And it's gonna be him, I wish people would just get over it. Seriously the whole day on tumblr I've just seen people crap all over Peter Parker because Miles won't be the first MCU Spidey

You'd be amazed how some people with access to the internet can't look up simple quotes like this and keep pushing for Miles to be the mcu spidey. Like I don't understand the actual anger people have for Peter being the first mcu spidey

From my understanding, Miles was influenced to by Peter Parker to become the next Spider-Man. So maybe a few years down the road when the actor portraying Peter is ready to call it quits, then you bring in Miles.
