I don't know if you know X-Maniac but also in the press screening PWR saw, Mystique didn't have that computer effect on her voice from X1 and X2, but in the Yahoo clip she does! Something's not right.

This is all so weird, a lot of those scenes sound important. And I always thought that Storm's tidal wave was gonna be her THING in this movie, it's strange that they didn't have it... along with Phoenix rising, now THAT'S important

It's VERY wierd! Storm's tidal wave featured prominently in a few tv spots and trailers!

yup, theres a theory, in which we do have evidence of differences. video evidence of mystiques voice. and various reports of different scenes.

VERY likely in my book...right now... we will see what version Empire see's, and whenever teh US screenings are.

there was a deadline at the beggining of MAY for the INTERNATIONAL version of the film to be done and shipped... not the US and or final version...

I know but in the AICN draft it described her actually raising from the lake like a beaming star or something. It'd be a bit odd not to see something as important as the actual act of PHOENIX RISING. Hmmm.

Things have changed since the AICN draft. I'm guessing Scott goes unconscious after he falls from the whirlpool effect and we see it from his perspective after that. So we never really see Jean rise.

I don't think that would be a necessary change though.

It'd be odd imo. Some people might not understand she actually came from the lake if they don't show the actual act of her rising.
