I don't mind "Hulk smash!" It's his catch phrase. I woudl have been bummed if The Thing never said "It's clobberin' time!" in the Fantastic Four movie.

I agree. I don't know people are so dead set against "hulk smash." It's his trademark.

He was presented very well in the first movie and that's how he should be played in the second one.

He should gruff and growl, but not stupid talk like, "Hulk smashes."

If he does talk, he should be coherent, but it's not necessary for him to sound like a genius.

He should talk, just not too much. And not corny lines, like in the comics.
