I have enough colorful socks but as a master of socks(all kinds), I want more. I'm about to order a pair or two of these.

Yea Thats what I had to do for my joker vest. I spend weeks looking for it and after no results I just bought a vest pattern and made my own. I took me about 5 hours to make and it didnt come out too bad.

naw, that's pretty kickass. i'd wear that for a joker costume. that looks good. nice job

not many. how ever many you can count in this thread. and then one guy who offered to throw down a lot. then we gotta open the paypal account. and they take a little money for the service too.

it's not lookin good.

and i actually got a mini-sewing machine for christmas (no i'm not gay =D i just wanted a sewing machine to do simple puppets and costumes for movies. but that's why i'd make the socks myself. shouldn't be too hard. it's worth a shot).

so i don't know. i don't think i'll get the socks from the website at this point. it'd be cool. but it might not happen. i guess i'm gonna try and make them myself. i hope they turn out good. i gotta figure out what kind of fabric to use.

I'd imagine they'd be knit. Four color patches repeated all the way down the sock. Black, orange, green, and purple.


Fairly simple design as well.

it was this site i found back in the day. and i sent him the various pics we had of the socks at the time and he said he could definitely do it, but again it has to be a buttload of pairs and it costs an obscene amount of money. i'd still like to do it. i wish there was a more organized way to do this

forever 21 has a men's section in the back and i found socks with the same pattern of blocks only in black, charcoal, and white. $4.

one packet of rit color remover and the black was grey and the charcoal was, get this, mustard yellow! the exact shade of ledger's!

so i used fabric markers to dye both the warp and weft (front and back) threads green and purple and i now have an almost exact replica of the socks.

im going back to f21 to get two more pairs.
