im guessing most cast members will be Asian like Chi - chi ( as we can see ) Grandfather Gohan and Yamcha. Goku is an alien and his race isnt really defined as Asian, black, white, ect. so race isnt really an issue when it comes to his character . The only thing i worry about is can Chatwin become Goku looks and personality wise...... and Marsters is going to be green so it doesn't matter what he looks like.

You know, now, I am kinda wishing that they casted someone Oriental as Goku. It's going back and forth in my head, right now.

Personally, I don't mind Goku not being Asian. In the show he was an alien, so race would be pretty irrelevant, and also, he's way too big in stature in the show to be full-blooded Asian. I think that it made more sense to cast a white actor for the role.

Dang though, I am glad to see that Chi Chi is being played by a smoking hot asian chick. Undoubtedly, this movie will play a very important role in the hormonal development of a lot of teenage boys.

I like the chi-chi and piccolo casting but Chatwin better pput on the better part 30 pounds in mucle to even come close to being slightly big enough for this role.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but I think Lau Ka Fei a.k.a. Gordon Liu (Pai Mei from Kill Bill for those who don't know him) would be perfect to play Master Roshi. He's bald and pretty good at martial arts. Plus, he's really good at comedy too.
