Its really not news but considering what they are giving us (not giving us)... it sort of is... its a slap in the face to the fans with all this secrecy... if someone can answer this... are they not filming this February? Everyone should be casted by now...

BOF and other sites said that filming begins in March. I say plenty of time if is March or everyone is cast they just waiting right time to tell us bat-fans.

Thats a months difference... I know I am being impatient but they gotto have Dent down at this point... unless they are casting way out in left field... but what if these actors sign on with something else... they gotto fit all their schedules... they shouldn't be waiting like this... Jackman had numerous movies out... no news of his involvement... Dicaprio, Damon, Wahlberg all had movies out... no word of their involvement in future Batflicks... Owen and Law have movies coming out... still no word if they are the man for Dent... we need something by Christmas... but based on how we have been shafted... I ain't banking on it...

Would kick ass... Connelly is still good to look at but she is pushing late 30 (looks great in Blood Diamond though)... I haven't seen her recent movies like V so I don't know about Portman...

I think there has to be a damsel in distress though, I know it is very 'Forever', but I think it is a nice little touch that normally works

I don't mind... but we have seen the character already... no need to bring her back... even though its a reboot you can't make these movies without acknowledging the previous ones... prolly why they won't redo Penguin or Catwoman... Dawes wasn't a damsel b/c she at least had some drive in her character... we need characters like that... Selina, Talia... those are the only women worth doing (no pun intended)

Every character can't be strong though

Not saying it has to be a women, but not every character in the movie can be strong, and independent. Weather Gordon is a doubter, or it is Wayne that falls apart, not everyone can be strong.

Batman 2 and 3 are being filmed back to back. It could very well be that Rachel McAdams is being casted as Catwoman for the third film while Katie Holmes will return as Rachel Dawes for the second.

Actually, her character was important to the first film. She played an integral role, not only as the Assistant DA of Gotham, but as a conscience for Bruce Wayne. She's served her purpose though and I don't see her playing much of a role in the later films.

I have an idea, how about we forget Dawes and give bruce HIS VERY OWN CONCIENCE? Crazy I know, but along with the many other qualities provided by secondary characters in BB, that'd be a good start for old Brucie
