My neighbors saw someone break into my car early this morning. I checked it out today and nothing inside was taken, but when I started the car up, it was running REALLY loudly.

Someone said that they might have taken my muffler pipes or my catalytic converter, but I don't know for sure. I don't know if it's safe to drive it or not.

They stole your Muffler Pipes?! Those Monsters!

That happened to me last year. Someone had broke in and tried to steal my radio and some other things. And they ended up taking all the change in my ash tray. They really ****ed up the insides at the time, but its all fixed.

Are you going to file a police report?

Who was that poster that made that thread once about how he was watching someone break into a house across the street and what he should do?

im sorry, it is funny that someone broke into your car, and decided to take you Cat Converter of all things. They have this thing on a jack?

Your car can run without, it's just loud, you'll also get rejected come inspection time. Get it fixed.

Yeah...I called my brother in law to see if he wanted to fix it (he needs the money). If not, if all it'll do is run loud for me, I can drive up to my favorite repair shop and get it checked out.

I'm scratching my head over this. Of all the valuable things in one's car, like, oh, the car stereo, they steal your muffler pipes!?

....that sucks.

Wouldn't really do any good to call the police. My car was broken into and they only gave me a case number. .

Well, I guess they're more valuable than people realize...(ca converter)

One time I had my car broken into. I felt so bad about it, because I think I forgot to lock the car. And the only thing stolen was a copy of this:

It was pretty strange.

...Hmm, I hear the hotel/casino/real estate business is blooming

Could I just get a straight pipe put in its place?

Those could cost $50.
