Someone broke into my car last night

Could I just get a straight pipe put in its place?

Those could cost $50.

No, you can't. You could probably find someone shady to do it, but at some point someone from the EPA or an auto service center is going to see it and turn you in and then you'll be f**ked.

man, I'm sorry to hear that TNC . . . it SUCKS having your car getting broke into . . . feels like you've been violated . . .

that being said, Lol! at the other posts :D

Two of my friends got their car broken into, it sucks. The first one got a brick thrown threw his window and all that was taken was the change in the cup holder.

The second one got his radio stolen, funny thing though, the thief left all the parts they didn't need neatly laid out on the passenger seat and locked the car again when they were done.

I feel bad for you. My first car got broken into as well back when I was a student. they took all the headrests, lights and inside wooden logos as well as messing up the wooden head on my gear shift.

I got it fixed and then gave it away as a present. I just did not like it after that happenned.

Theives should be executed.

When I was renting a house with a few friends one of them had a nice new truck that got broken into. Bastards took his GPS unit, CD player/stereo and most of his CD's he left in there. Truck was in the driveway.

Not to mention one of our neighbors has his own landscaping business and they stole about $5,000 worth of equipment from him as well.

Hey guys I just saw someone setting a bomb on the local dam. What should I do?

My brother once had a recurring athlete's food infection, so my mother took him to the Doctor's and he said the infection was in his shoes so they had to be thrown away. He left them in the back seat of the car and forgot to throw them in the trash. That night, the car was broken into and they STOLE THE SHOES! We laughed so damn hard.

Man. Imagine having to hose down your food with some Tinactin before you ate? :(

They probably swiped your catalytic converter because of the precious metals in it. It's a big problem right now:

I remember my first car and my first day out with it the catalytic converter was dragging so I called my dad and asked what to do . He said " kick it off , you don't need it ". I couldnt believe it but sure enough I did . My buddy and I thought it was the funniest thing ever at that time.

I got a straight pipe on it. It's ok for me to do so and it's not a problem in my state to not have the catalytic converter on it, so... :p

My car is pretty old anyway and I don't think I'll be having it for too much longer. I'd just hate to spend $180 for the thing just for it to be taken again. I might invest some money and get my mufflers replaced, though. My car still sounds like dozen lawnmowers running at once.

It's good that your doing something about it. Check to make sure everything is fine,if something is wrong. Make sure you know, you don't want to be driving and find out the brake wire is cut.

Someone broke into my Cavalier two years ago and basically stole the temporary license form that you have to leave in the window until you get new plates. I was like, what in the ****?

You see, the best anti-theft device is simply driving around in a really crappy car.

Or replacing your car alarm with a swarm of angry hornets and cobras.

I forget which.

well, hey, it's fast actin'

BOOM!
