I've been pondering this myself. Maybe it's the fantastic songs. Or how brilliant they were as musicians. Or how they managed to become one of the most important and innovative bands in music. Yeah, one of those has to be the reason.

"Revolution" is a Beatles song.

Also, the song by The Who you are referring to is called "Baba O'Riley", and as far as I know it's not the theme to any of the CSI shows. I know that "Who Are You" and "Won't Get Fooled Again" are, but not "Baba O'Riley".
