Action-Adventure Sonic 3... and Shadow

Man, pretty hyped for this! Got my tix for opening weekend!

They even went the extra mile and made it look like one of the loops from the earlier 2D games and even gave it the iconic checkered terrain pattern.

Props to whomever thought all of these up.

So I guess this is where Transformers One's marketing budget went.

New Tracking from BoxOffice Theory
12/20/2024Sonic the Hedgehog 3Paramount PicturesWide$74,000,000$89,000,000$86,000,000 (+27%)$231,000,000$312,000,000$292,000,000 (+53%)

If these models end up being correct or close too, even on the Low end of Opening Weekend and Domestic Total - Sonic 3 would surpass Sonic 2 on both fronts as Sonic 2 only made $72.1 its opening weekend and $190 domestically

If Sonic can crack $90 million its opening, I think Paramount is going to be popping some Champ bottles. Man if it can hit $100 million....

What are we thinking for a WW gross right now? I heard something about a possible release in China in January. Man if it could get that...i think your looking at an easy $750 Mil WW. Even then $600 is looking very possible

Will Ferrell should have played Gerald Robotnik and nothing would change my mind!

The marketing for this movie is amazing. HOW COME MOVIES DONT DO THIS ANYMORE? You just don't see these kind of creative poster ads for movies these days anymore. Not often anyway.
