Good on them for not making the cliche Hollywood choice of recasting Tails with a more well-known name.

The level in difference between this poster and the first poster for the last movie is pretty much the level in difference between the first two games.

I love it.

I love the boys on the Tornado. (Which also confirms the Tornado which makes me squee).

We got Jimbotnik and his Eggmobile with Buzz Bombers.

I can hear Sky Chase music from here.

The poster looks great! Its wonderful to see they’re not afraid to lean into the video game origins of it

Great poster, loving the addition of the bi-plane just reminds you of the games so much.

Having them on the Tornado is just *chef kiss*.

It feels like Sonic.

With the first movie I saw a fair a mount of people say "It was a good movie...featuring Sonic but not a good Sonic movie".

I think they've laid enough ground work in the first movie, so now they can really dive into the Sonic elements/themes/ideas all the while making their own.

Take Jimbotnik's evolution of his Badnik's...they're in the same style as the classic badniks but fit his new aesthetic. Same for his Eggmobile. Hell the Eggmobile looks perfect in this style.

Also less than 10 hours till the trailer!

The first film definitely played it a bit safe to hook audiences, but it looks like they’re definitely not holding back on the Sonic-y goodness, lore and references this time around.

Dat Knuckles stopping Sonic’s spin attack, tho. I can already tell he’s going to be a scene stealer.

It's what the first film should've been, really. Whether it ends up being better or more of the same, I don't know, but at least they're leaning more into the actual game stuff this time compared to the first outing.

Plus, nice to see them apparently doing a lot of stuff with the Master Emerald. Definitely gives off some Sonic 3 and Sonic Adventure vibes.

Love the poster and Idris already sounds great as Knuckles. It definitely feels like he's brining that same imposing presence he had as Shere Kahn in Favreau's The Jungle Book.

The fact that they are focusing a lot more of the videogame lore is also a huge plus IMO.
