Tomorrow or the day after. I'll probably pick up R&C, Uncharted and DMC4 with it as well. As excited as I am about picking up the system and games I think I'm MORE excited about being able to watch movies in HD.

What movies would you guys pick? Pretty sure I'm getting TMNT, Blade Runner and a few more....

Casino Royale. Any Disney movie. They make the best BRs as far as picture quality. You will be most amazed by Disney films.

Yeah, I was planning on picking up all the Pirate flicks...I'll give my standard ones to my niece and nephew. I seen that best buy had the Devil May Cry anime series season 1 on standard. No idea if its on BR though.

Picked up a 40 gb last night along with R&C: Future (which, is the best platformer I've played in a loooong time), Uncharted and Rock Band.

I'm probably going to pick up DMC4 and Resistance today.

Did Spidey 3 come bundled? I would have to say out of my entire collection it has to be one of the best looking movies.

R&C is a great game. I havent had that much fun with a platformer since the original Jak.

Some other games Id reccommend are Warhawk, Burnout Paradise and Call of Duty 4. CoD4 is a must. Its the BEST FPS on any system. Id get that over Resistance

Good choice! Now do you like Uncharted? It's my number 1 game of this gen!

Too bad it's so ****ty. How do the first two look?

First 2 Blu-rays get a 4-4.5 star rating in quality. Few minor bad spots but overall looks and sounds amazing. The third movie is easily a 5 star disc though.

40 gig? Isnt that the one without backwards compability?

I'm torn between XBox 360 and PS3 as to which one I will buy. The reason I'm torn is because they mostly share a lot of titles except for certain ones, but I was interested in PS3 for the blue-ray playability and graphics, even tho 360 has good graphics(and I'm really looking forward to Fable2)..but no blue-ray. Also does PS3 have online play, if so is it free like nintendo or do you have to pay like 360? So I wanted the opinions of you guys who have either system or maybe both as to why you think one has an edge over the other. I would appriciate the feedback in hopes that it might help me to weigh them and see which would fit me better. Thanks.

P.S. I would have asked this in another thread but I wasn't really sure which one would be best and I didn't see any threads similar to my problem..so I apologize if there was somewhere better suited for this question and would gladly ask it there.

PS3 has an internet browser, online store, and online play that is free to use. The PS3 is also considered one of the best Blu-ray players available at this point. But also the 5 free Blu-ray's with purchase of the PS3 just expired so you would be missing out on that now unless they decide to extend it at some point in the near future. But as fair as I know Spider-Man 3 still comes with the 40GB PS3.

I have both, and I like both for different reasons. Console exclusives are so few and far between now that it's tough to really say. XBOX's online service is better even though you have to pay for it, and there is a larger selection of games for the console as of right now. I do however very much prefer my PS3 as a media center. It's dead quiet in comparison to the 360, the Blu Ray player is an obvious bonus, and it streams media from my Mac using Medialink like it's nobody's business. It's a tough call to make.
