So does the box office mean the movie was bad, or just that people didn't get it? The box office issue only matters when it's a movie you like or dislike apparently.
Mark Millar said:...and it's the biggest piece of **** ever. Just like a little piece of me refuses to believe that every movie Harrison Ford has made since Last Crusade has sucked, I kind of like the W Bros. Matrix 1 was so, so good, but my God this is up there with Hollywood Homicide, Rising Sun, Clear and Present Danger and Twister as one of the worst flicks I have ever paid money to see.
Jeepers? Cool beans? We left after thirty minutes and went to McDonalds!

Bryan Hitch said:God, wasn't Speed Racer ****e? the Good Mrs Hitch and I took a small selection of our horde of offspring to see it last week and we took it in shifts to stay there and look after them whilst they watched the film. we took frequent cigarette breaks and neither of us smoke. By the end, the kids were taking *** breaks too.
I also love the look of the Hulk. I've been wary for a while and I certainly don't think it will approach Iron Man coolness but I think it will do solid if not exceptional business.
I really liked the latest Hulk trailer; then again I liked the Ang Lee film too. Wasn't that Russian wanted trailer Awesome?

In Speed Racer's case, people just weren't interested in seeing it. Luckily, they were right. Many people saved their 8-10 dollars for this waste of time.
I'm thinking about doing the same for the Indy movie,... The Geeks who have seen it tell me that while not a yawner,... they could've waited for the DVD.
It's unfortunate that it made it's money on the previous Indy films - as in People are going because of the good experience they may have had with one of the previous three.

Interestingly, Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch shared their opinions on Speed Racer. Must say I was surprised by their reactions.

Saw this movie last night. It sucked
