Comics Spider-Clan

Oh, it's that Spidey Mangaverse crap. I should have figured that one, but somehow it just didn't register.

Was the other ones any good?

I liked the covers, but never picked 'em up. I'm quite a Kaare and Young fan, so I'm interested...

Good stories? Or is it just nice art, with a cheesy manga twist on US storylines?

(Funnily enough, Spidey is very popular in Japan, as all the haracterstics in his origin, and continuing storyline very much fits the mold of typical Japanese storytelling. Personally, I think it can be great, when done well.)

"Nice art" is very subjective. Spidey had a head the size of a watermelon and a body the size of a Cabbage Patch doll.

It wasn't even legitimately Japanese. It was Americans poorly aping Japanese. Apparently, all that's important about Japanese culture to this comicbook is ninjas, ninjas, and overly-manganoid art.

Started reading it today PURELY because I saw that it'll be an extra costume in Spider-Man SD.....gotta say, like the art......and that's it.

The story is just soooo soooo cliched? boring? silly? Really cant decide which. Not good though....
